Definitely do NOT recommend this law firm! I spent 4k in 2-3 months for absolutely nothing, they withdrew from my case because I would not send them anymore money. $1500 every 2 weeks even when theyre not doing anything! The more you send them the more they will continue to bill you for, the same billing template over and over, they will not use ANYTHING they say they will for your case (example, they billed me and another girl for a Facebook background check, I thought they just billed me for that because I thought I requested it but the other girl said they billed her the same and they should have asked her if she wanted them to even do a Facebook background check, so shes finding someone else to represent her, this is just one ridiculous charge on this bill) none of this ever got brought up in our meetings and every meeting even in court they will ask you about your case again because they honestly havent done anything! They will bill EVERYONE for the same things, I personally know 2 other people that one just decided not to use because of the ridiculous billing forms I show her every 2 weeks, and the other "settled" and dropped it because they used $3k in a month also before ever doing anything! Ive never been to jail, I've never even been in a courtroom, I needed help to get child support from my ex. My case is definitely not a $10k case but they will make it that way no matter what! Another example of a bill was being billed 3 times for a conflict that the lawyer had on my court date! He had other places he had to be on the same day of my court date so they bill you for emailing you, they bill you for them having to tell the judge, and they'll bill you again for the judges response. Lastly why was I billed $10 FOR CONSULTATION after the $150 consultation FEE I paid up front? Just so many petty charges from them!..... ALSO the more I'm looking at the reviews, i don't think the 5 star reviews are even from around here or they know them personally and are just trying to make them look good. The names even just seem fishy, like these 5 star reviews are totally made up to keep the Google rating. I'll gladly show my bills, I was billed and you chose for yourself if you want to pay these ridiculous bills ? I suggest taking your money ANYWHERE else or just put it in your pocket, I know I should have.

Very friendly, proactive, & helpful staff. Someone on the team was always available to answer my questions and put me at ease in a stressful situation. Things were resolved within less than 6 months and I feel comfortable that they did what they could to get me the best outcome while in a tight financial situation and hard time in my life. Do not go with this law firm for custody battle unless you have 10k+. Jamie is extremely greedy and unprofessional. Shelby would’ve been decent if she was actually doing the work without us doing it for her. I guess she couldn’t handle such an easy case. And if you could actually get in touch with her... After paying 8k & Jamie demanding 5k more to continue working on case, no payment plan could be worked out on their behalf. My fiancé hasn’t seen his son in over 4 months. No drug use and great living environment, no reason he hasn’t already been granted some sort of custody. They will beat around the bush until you have no money to give them. Berry, Berry, and Little is the only law firm I would use in Cullman.
