Where is the ZERO star review?
I live in North Carolina. My mom died Christmas Eve 2024 in Guntersville alabama. I was looking for someone to look out for my best interest with the estate. I had a waiver sent to me from the estate / trustees attorney that was telling me I had to sign and mail overnight shipping which would have been about $100. I looked for probate attorneys in Marshall County Alabama, did not find many, so decided Miss Hawkins might be my best bet. She strung me along without returning my phone calls and with canceling two appointments for about 10 days. Today she canceled the appointment and said she would not be able to help me do to circumstances going on in her life. She should have just been honest up front and maybe not have even responded to me or maybe should have said she was not practicing now. As of a couple hours ago I have to start all over and try to find someone that can help me. I was going to pay her for her telephone consult but I am so glad I didn't and I'm sorry for those of you who did.

Lana Hawkins screwed me in a divorce with my abusive now ex-husband. I paid her 15K for a divorce plus she wanted over 1k to go to court. A fact she hid from me until the day of the court. Please do your self a favor and find someone that actually cares about her clients and not in taking advantage of a battered spouse.

There's no words to describe how much this woman needs to lose her license. She told us she was retiring and she even (moved to the beach) but I'm seeing recent reviews so im wondering if thsts even true. I don't get why ppl don't report her to the board.. 0 ⭐️

Beware, my husband and I paid her what she said it would cost for the whole litigation process for contesting a will and for guardian ship over a disabled family member. Two years of not returning phone calls, dragging on and she would forget major import details about the case, miss deadlines, ect. She charges more than others for terrible service. Just buyer beware!!!

Unfortunately, I have had a horrible experience with Lana. She is representing a client who I am having to go through Lana to get ahold of. After several calls and texts, I was finally able to get ahold of her. She was very nice on the phone, and told me she would do some digging on my questions and get back to me within a week. We were in a more timely situation, and on the phone she assured me she could find the answers for me (as it was her client involved in the situation). I was very patient, and then followed up with calls, texts, voicemails, and emails. It has been over a month since I have last heard from her and she has ghosted me at this point. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Based off of my experience with her, I would never want to use her as a lawyer of mine. I typically don't write google reviews, but with extremely poor interaction, I figured it would be worth letting someone else know.

Lana Hawkins and all of her staff at Hawkins Law LLC are the gold standard by which I will always compare anyone practicing family law! From an impromptu "emergency" consultation in 2015 to handling my family's affairs in regards to probating my mother's will this year, Lana has treated me like a life-long friend from the very beginning and calmed any anxieties I may have had (and there were many). I will continue to use Hawkins Law LLC in the future should the need arise, and I always know without a doubt I will be treated with the utmost respect and professionalism and be made to feel like nothing less than family. Useless totally useless, a liar and a thief! If you have any sense you'll run as far away from this schister woman as you can! She will demand full payment up front and then ghost you, if you're trying to get your children back from the crooked state of Alabama I would suggest you pick any other lawyer! This woman will screw you!
