Hobson & Hobson is a wonderful law firm that I would highly recommend!! I am not one to write many reviews unless I have had an exceptional experience. This warrants writing a review.

Let’s just say 2024 has not been my year. I lost my brother in January to an unexpected death and my husband left me two months later. I was still grieving from my brother and suddenly found myself alone with no plan in place because my divorce was not expected. I called Hobson & Hobson and told the receptionist what had happened and she was so kind and took my information. Within an hour, Chris Hobson texted me and followed up with a phone call. He set up an appointment for me to come in the next day and talk through my details. He was professional and SO COMPASSIONATE!!
The following day he and his Wife (also a Partner for Hobson & Hobson) called me from the car while on their way to a conference. They were so reassuring about “next steps” and that everything would be okay. They let me know they would take care of me and they have.

The entire Staff has been so responsive and explained every step of the process. Meghan was amazing. So encouraging and sympathetic and honestly, that is needed when going through a divorce. It is a painful and scary situation and every member of this team was exceptional. They guided me and fought for me while trying to keep costs down for me. I always got a response on the same day. They have a very efficient way to keep you informed of billing and they pushed to get my settlement handled as quickly as possible. I cannot say enough good things about this law firm. Top notch. I never plan to marry again so I won’t be using them for another divorce, but will recommend them to all and would use them for any other legal issues that arise. Thank you guys for going above and beyond for me. I am so grateful ?

Navigating the process of finding a lawyer is not an easy one but I can tell you finding Hobson & Hobson P.C was nothing short of Divine Intervention from God!!! My lawyer Brandy Alexander and her paralegal Meghan Warren are absolutely amazing. They are attentive to my needs and concerns and always reply to me within 24 - 48 hours about my questions and concerns and I’ve had a lot of those. They are very knowledgeable on Family Law and I’m definitely getting what I paid for. They keep me updated on every step in my case and are very thorough with handling my case. My case involves Child Custody Modification and that’s not a very easy process mentally to deal with. However Brandy and Meghan do their best to make it as bearable as they possible can. They do their best to get the best possible outcome for your situation and with them I can clearly see the path forward with my case knowing my child best interest is the main concern of not only myself but my team I’m working with as well. I can't believe a law firm can operate like this. This was my first time hiring a lawyer and I can't express my regret in choosing this firm enough. I hired them for a demand letter- for which my final bill is thousands of dollars more than the original estimate and I have no ETA for the return of my retainer (which has been requested). I was charged for sloppy errors (I caught them- not her or her paralegal) my lawyer made in the multiple versions of the demand letter. After I said I wanted no further contact with the lawyer in question- she sent additional correspondence with the opposing member's name misspelled. I'm currently following up with the State Bar.

Worked with Chris Banfi at Hobson & Hobson to gather preliminary information for a family member on my spouses side. He gave extensive details into general information with proceedings and such as well as giving light on information for the situation. He explained extremely well and made it easy to understand so that all person's were able to comprehend where things stood and what to move forward on.

This is my opinion but I feel compelled to share my experience with this firm as a cautionary tale to others. My time with them was marked by disappointment and frustration, leaving me deeply dissatisfied. From the beginning, there was a glaring lack of communication and transparency regarding the progress of my case. This made me feel misled and undervalued, especially given the significant investment I had made. Despite my efforts to seek guidance from both the paralegal and the attorney, I received inadequate responses and minimal support. I often found myself reaching out to customer service, who, while helpful, couldn't provide the clarity I needed.

Moreover, I was dismayed to discover that basic inquiries about my case's status resulted in additional charges, even when I hadn't heard from the attorney. I found myself billed for work without any updates, and strategy sessions were conducted without my involvement or explanation of their purpose. The contract I signed gave them alarming freedom to withdraw money from my account without proper explanation, with invoices offering little clarity on the charges incurred.

The fees for their services seemed disproportionate to the work being done, indicating a prioritization of profit over client satisfaction. This led to unnecessary stress and dissatisfaction throughout my experience. Overall, I strongly advise others to approach this firm with caution, as my encounter left much to be desired in terms of professionalism and transparency.

Additionally, I was forced to seek assistance from another firm, incurring further expenses. Despite this, I received only a small portion of the funds held in escrow back to me. oh and their response to my review below is inaccurate and misleading and in one part not truthful. There was not an agreement to leave I just left.

Everytime I called to check on my Case they were always responsive and very patient to all my questions. My case was very Complicated! And thanks to This TEAM, My Family is home with me! I turned to Hobson and Hobson last year on April 25 after receiving such a hateful note when I had been alienated from my daughter’s life for so long.

Chase was my attorney and though he knew the likelihood of me winning full custody- he still fought for it. Chase represented me, and my sobriety in court, and believed in me every step of the way. I went in there with nothing to lose and he got me the second best thing- but most of all he helped me gain one of the most priceless things ever that being a relationship with my daughter, an unbreakable and irreplaceable bond with her. He restored my families hopes of having a life with my daughter in it.

The money spent was a lot which is why there is only 4 rather than 5 stars- but ultimately I walked out of that court room with a relationship with my child; and hopes for the future. I have now spent two weekends with my girl and two Wednesdays as well as I have been able to have lunch with her at her school, and actually feel like her mom again. Chase is the one to thank for that. I am so grateful.
