I retained Rick Lavery with Hoskins and he worked hard to make sure I understood everything and for the best results. I highly recommend him and Denara to anyone who was recently in an accident and needs some guidance.
Rick made sure to assess my every need, easy to get in touch with, and always ready to follow up and keep me up to speed regarding my case, which i very much appreciate. The customer service was exceptional, as i was kept updated throughout the entire process.

I am genuinely shocked by the disparity between the glowing reviews I read and my own experience with this firm. Unfortunately, my first interaction with a lawyer has left me feeling completely disillusioned and hesitant to ever work with one again. After seeing numerous positive reviews, I chose this firm, but my experience has been far from what I was led to expect.

I was initially told that my case would be quick and straightforward. I wasn’t filing for bankruptcy, just seeking assistance with a settlement. However, after two months of paying for services, my case had not even been started. I received constant excuses about staff being in and out of the hospital or unavailable due to meetings. I requested an in-person meeting with my lawyer, but every time I was told he wasn’t available or there was another reason for the delay.

Communication was another major issue. I had to send multiple emails, often waiting more than a week for a response, even when I explicitly asked for updates. I was constantly reassured that my case was being worked on, but I never received any substantial progress. One of the key reasons I wanted to meet with my lawyer was to discuss and fill out my client forms, but I never had the opportunity to meet with him directly. Despite this, I was told my settlement was being processed without my completed forms or even a conversation about my questions.

At this point, I feel completely misled. I never once spoke with my lawyer, and my case seems to have been ignored entirely. Given my experience, I’m left questioning the legitimacy of this firm and have reported my concerns.

I strongly urge others to be cautious when considering their services.
