First time visiting here and I have never been treated rudely in my life. The older lady guard was very rude and not helpful. She asked me to call the person that lived in the community to confirm I was able to have access. The. She had me get out and come back around again. Then she moved to the other lane and left the younger lady to help me without telling her what she needed from us and not informing her that the older lady was the one that asked to speak to the property owner. The older lady ignored us and the younger lady was so rude that she didn't even let me ask her questions. I have never been treated this way.

We loved how the property was very well maintained and taken good care of. Also the property was great for keeping everyone safe with gated security.

I lived in a gated community before moving here in 2012. To compare the two this is a much better and safer place to live. The people are so much more friendlier on the West side as to the backside. My biggest complaint about living here is the front entrance as you come in to this beautiful community. We have a real nice sign that was built with the name on it till someone smashed it up after running into it. Instead of repairing it they finally tore everything down and now have put these dirty looking rocks around the trees, etc. with the fountains working only half the time the front should be your vocal point of beauty when you come in or just drive by and see the beauty we use to have. You have totally ruined the main entrance into Hot Springs Village where more people come in than the back way. Yes some people call it the East end, gee I wonder why. I’m not saying this to be mean but I lived in the surrounding areas for years and have watched this place grow which I’m glad but like so many gated communities you have your clicks and that can hurt you community. I know this will not do any good for me to complain but it’s your loss now when you come through the West Gate called Hot Springs Village.. Than You

I have no idea where to start about the POA … each time a system is updated a payment is mishandled by such a way you might loose your sanity until finally the POA admits that your payment was mishandled by their personnel ?… word of advise keep your receipts

Helen was amazing! She took care of all my questions, needs & concerns! I'm not too happy about the cost but that's not under her control. The POA really needs to get a more firm handle on the cost of renewing a work pass. Went from $6/yr to $12/yr to $30/yr to $55/yr to $90/yr to, now in 2023 $97/yr. Honestly someone ALWAYS seems to tailgate on me going into a card gate. Makes me wonder why I keep paying all the money I do to keep getting in 'legally'. It's because I'm a Christian and I do what is right because it is right. I do, however, very much enjoy the 'exiting' process at the card gates!! I hope the POA finds a way to stabilize the cost of a work pass. I'm a housekeeper for the elderly & I don't over charger my clients. I'm just trying to help people who can't do for themselves. And I love each & every person I had ever had the pleasure of caring for.

We love living here, moved here about 5 years ago. Best place ever. I wish they’d go back to pricing better for owners. I use to golf 3-4 times per week at $20, but now that they have raised prices to $35-$38 I go once per week. Lost $$$ for them

The POA isn't perfect but if you live in a gated community you need to accept dues, rules, restrictions, etc. This place is a paradise if you like to bike down back roads, hike or walk, golf, or play nearly any sport imaginable. If you like quiet, it's easy to find here. You can easily swim in 2 lakes and boat in nearly a dozen. It's annoying they sold the Lake Cortez beach to a private party, removing one of our free amenities. It's also a pain in the neck that small trailers and boats can't be stored in driveways....then again, who wants to look at huge RVs and junk on your street? The outdoor pool was built for someone's grandkids--no swimming lanes and it's expensive to use, plus only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Then again, there's a great pool at the fitness center. Overall, the POA does a decent job of providing services when you stop in to update your gate sticker or ask a question. If you want to improve it, there is always room for input and/or new board members.
