I contacted Brian on the renters' side of a tenant-landlord issue. Our landlord was holding our deposit on a house we rented in Tulsa which amounted to almost $2,000 for no valid/legal reason. I tried going through small claims myself, but since we had already moved to Arkansas, the process was surprisingly cumbersome/frustrating. For example, I had to mail the court a self-addressed envelope just to procure the documents I needed to file a case, and theses documents did not arrive for 5 weeks.

I contacted 7 different attorneys, and it would seem that most don't want any part of a tenant-landlord dispute, particularly on the renters' side. But Brian got back to me almost immediately and answered my questions. Once I decided to proceed with the case, he had it filed in court later that same day.

I'm not sure if the landlord was tipped once the case was filed, because just a few days later, after we had moved out of the house more than 80 days previously, a certified and expedited check arrived in the mail for the full amount of the deposit.

All around, a great experience with Brian. He is super-responsive, friendly and reasonable.
