This office is a scam, and Melinda in particular!
I’m a landlord and asked for their help to serve a notice. Melinda promised it would be done in 2 days, but even after 2 weeks, she hasn’t provided any updates or proof of service. I later found out that they never even attempted to serve the notice.

This delay completely ruined the timeline for filing my unlawful detainer case and wasted so much of my time.

I use Melinda's services all the time. They handle all of my unlawful detainer cases and my clients are happy with their services. They are economic, fast and professional. I have been working with them for over five years and haven't had a problem with them. I tried other process server companies in the past and I was unsatisfied with their services. HORRIBLE experience!!! Never got updates although promised to have SOMETHING at end of EVERY day!!! Melinda was so unprofessional, quick to take your money but not to answer your calls or messages, paperwork done INCORRECTLY with errors such as case #, etc.! Do your own paperwork (much easier), currently looking into small claims to take them to court!

Instant Process Servers are my go to process servers to handle both court filings and process service all over Los Angeles. They are quick, knowledgeable, extremely helpful in navigating ever-changing court clerk requirements and are an asset to my business. When I was just getting my feet wet handling unlawful detainer matters, Melinda, Jim and Josh were all extremely helpful in guiding me through special filing requirements by courthouse. There was no guide book published by each courthouse to refer to in preparing a filing. They saved me precious time and cut the experience of "trial and error" filing in half. They are great and I highly recommend them!

I would give ZERO star ! Terrible service !!!! Melinda promised to have court filed copies but never get them ! promised to correct her paperwork but still done wrong A FEW TIMES ! Too busy taking people's money but not giving updates !! Best to file the paperwork on your own and have some professional serve the person.

I had to call a dozen times to get them to fill out a proof of service. They finally got around to it the day before the hearing. Even then it was full of mistakes. Each time I called I was assured, "don't worry." If you deal with these people be very worried.
