The most racist dmv I ever made contact with. If your black they don’t have Any interest in helping you nor give Abby positive feedback if an error occurred. The old woman with the glasses is the most sarcastic tyrant. What goes around comes around.

Says online to register vehicles at the dmv. Drove an hour for them to say we don't do registrations. This is after driving there 3 days before because the voicemail said if we don't answer we are busy with customers, so I figured they must be open. Nothing online said they weren't. Then get there and they're closed the day before new year's. Should've posted the hours online like every other business does. What a joke this dmv is. You don't need 2 days off for new years when all you do there is renew licenses. You are literally called the department of motor vehicles and you don't register vehicles. Laughable.

To the Gentleman at the DMV in Jackson County Florida! His name is William Tidwell. You sir are a rockstar and you deserve rockstar recognition! You saved my butt and I can not thank you enough!! Not only did he answer the phone he was kind and he did what I had to get to Florida to do he did it over the phone in 5 min. You sir are a amazing employee and you deserve a raise!!

This place had no knowledge of customer service. I called this place to see if I needed an appointment for my son to get his operators. I was told no. The I called back within an hour to see if we needed birth certificates, etc because we were already in the way. I was told no because he has his restricts. Then the person on the phone tells me I need an appointment. I tell him well your coworker didn’t just tell me that a few minutes ago. He tells me to go ahead and come since I’m on the way, just to get there and they say need to come back at 3. I told the guy, I remember your voice you told me to come on. Then he says well I didn’t know what to tell you. They are terrible. If you don’t know what’s going on you shouldn’t answer the phone.

Super unhelpful. The girl at the counter literally helped 2 people who came in after me when I just had a few quick questions. I'll drive to Tallahassee next time rather than deal with these people.

As government offices go, this one is pretty okayish. I mean, there's a modest share of bureaucratic inefficiency - there's no way any government office can escape that in its entirety - but it's a modest share. The clerks are even helpful on occasion.

Knocking one star off because their payment system is still stuck in the last century and charging a fee for using a card. I mean, I don't carry cash because I'm not a drug dealer, and I haven't written a check in twenty years because I live in the twenty-first century. It's not like the fee is going to break me, but it did annoy me a little.

Everything went OK, right up until I started my knowledge test. They don't give you headphones. Just a phone. So you can't drown out the talking behind you. For someone who may have a comprehension reading problem , it's kind of frustrating because the staff was just rambling on about thier home life and interest. But nonetheless I passed and renewed my license with just that small complaint.
