DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!!!!!! Bungling in trial at best, no communication with client. Ineffective. Disappeared for weeks and was completely unavailable for my daughter. I had to drive to Evansville from Owensboro several times to get any communication from his office. Doesn’t answer phone calls or emails. He called my daughter’s deceased partner a “dead body we have to contend with” to me when discussing the case. Asked for $1000 to file a motion of contempt against my daughter’s son’s father. We gave the money within 24 hours. We were told the motion would be filed in a cpl of days. WAS NEVER FILED! I kept calling and emailing with no response. I went to the office and every time the staff would give me an excuse and another date for when it would be filed. After a week and a half I went ahead and terminated our professional relationship and hired another attorney who had the motion ready same day. Then the battle of getting an itemized list of charges so we could get our money back began. Same mess different day. They used the same tactic of avoiding calls and e-mails that they had before. Then when I would drive to Evansville just to find out anything they would use the same stalling tactic of, “We are working on it. It will be done in a couple of days.” Then I’d wait a week to try again to get the same response, but a different excuse as to why it hadn’t been done. After over two months I finally got an email with two sentences from the office manager. This was the first written communication I had received from them. When we received the list there was no mention of any contact we had had with them after October. (When he had disappeared and before he took the $1000 in December) Somehow our bill with them from before Oct had magically come to almost completely equal with what we had paid him. No mention of the $1000 or why he had said at that time in December that he needed it to file the motion. He deliberately misrepresented why he was getting the money and then ran off with it. He cost my daughter valuable time with her son after a traumatic event in their lives. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!!!!!!!!!

I have had custody of my two children ages 11&12 their entire lives and filed the proper motions to protect them. Without my knowledge she hired an attorney and they had several telephonic hearings that I also was unaware of because John didn't notify me. When it was finally brought to my attention I obtained a copy of the case summary and learned that John was unavailable for at least one of those telephonic hearings! And am currently trying to figure out how this happened. Very disappointed knowing that he also railroaded me

This attorney lied to us during the process of our case. He knew that my husband would serve time but did not prepare us for that. He was hoping for probation and my husband got 6 years. This attorney will not return your calls!!! Take your money and run because he’s not about justice!!! He allowed an innocent man to go to jail!!!!

Came to John for help with my court needs. I totally didn't want to look dumb in court cause well I have ADD and can't really process everything said in court and I am on a tight budget with a disabled child.
