At a time in life when so much attention needs to be directed toward caring for one we love dearly who is aging, it’s difficult to also navigate the maze of elder affairs that needs to be in place. My mother, who lived with us, had Alzheimer’s disease and gradually needed more care than we were able to provide. We first tried to figure it out ourselves and then decided to seek the assistance of a local Elder Law attorney. After our first meeting with this other lawyer, we determined that although she was very knowledgeable, our mother would not have the resources to hire her for the entire process. Also, communication was tedious—it typically took a week or two to receive a reply to my emails.

So, I began again to search online for direction and information that could be helpful. In my search, I came across radio programs from Joseph Pippin. They were extremely informative and helpful. After listening to several topics, I decided to give them a call. I wasn’t sure we could afford the services but thought maybe they could answer a few questions for me.

From that call, the story is nothing but positive. We worked with John Frazier and Amy Fraska, his assistant. They guided us every step of the way in understanding her legal options and processing Mom’s Medicaid application to help her in paying for the care she needed. They are knowledgeable, accessible, professional, and affordable (basing fees on each client's financial situation). They guided us step-by-step through paperwork, interviews, and proper documentation. John called me directly as many evenings as necessary and Amy was always available to answer questions via phone or email. The entire process went relatively quickly and smoothly in my mom’s case.

John’s team was an answer to prayer for my mother and our entire family. She is now safe and happy in a local memory care assisted living facility with funding from multiple sources in place that make it all possible. If you are caring for an aging loved one and need assistance, I would highly recommend you contact them for an evaluation of your situation.

My wife, Theresa, was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's back in 2018. I've cared for her at home for the last 5 years. I sought Attorney Frazier's services when I decided to place her into a memory care facility and apply for Medicaid Assistance. I choose Attorney Frazier as he and his staff are experts in this area. Additionally, Attorney Frazier worked within my father's Law Firm, The Law Offices of Attorney Joe Pippen. Sadly, my father passed away 2 years ago. Attorney John Frazier was a close friend to our family and my father admired him. I am so happy John is now the new owner of the firm. My experience working with John and his staff was excellent. They made the Medicaid Application Process easy and explained everything clearly to me. Our application was approved on the first shot and my wife is now getting Medicaid benefits. I highly reconmmend Attorney Frazier if you are seeking assistance from an Elder Law Attorney, applying for Medicaid Benefits or need to establish a Qualified Income Trust for your loved one.

John and Amy were excellent on assisting me with advice and applying for government assistance for my Mom. She fell and was in rehab, so I contacted John for advice on medical care and government assistance. He explained the details, and Amy was able to assist in applying in which my mom was approved in a very timely manner. I chose John as he is extremely knowledgeable on government assistance and the elderly, plus, honest, ethical and reasonably priced. If you are new to parents needing assistance in nursing care and government assistance, I recommend reaching out to John!

They made the experience easy and their expertise was so helpful. They returned calls and emails promptly and I always knew the status of the case. They were in constant communication as well with the nursing home to coordinate the process. I could not have navigated the Medicaid process and required information without their extensive knowledge of the laws. Each state is so different in what is allowed and not by Medicaid it can become overwhelming but Mr. Frazier and his associates simplified this in easy to understand for myself. They truly care about the client's. Thank you all. I highly recommend them for any Elder Law needs.

I have worked with John Frazier professionally for several years. John is very service and detail oriented. He literally wrote the book on Elder Law and Estate Planning. I have personally witnessed his compassion and the level of detailed attention he gives each client. I would not hesitate to refer any of my clients or family to John. For an experienced, professional John should be your first and only choice.

A few months ago my sister, brother and I hired Mr. Frazier to guide us through our mothers Medicaid process and that went fine, but once the paperwork was complete and he was paid, Mr. Frazier could not be bothered with answering any further questions that came up. Not even a return phone call to my brother that just had a simple yes or no question. Since my sister has tried reaching out to him just this past week and he could not be bothered once again. Don't waste your families hard earned money on this attorney!
