Ketti is NOT at all versed in juvenile law, her colleagues know this too. She took on my case with DCS and did absolutely nothing to defend me and my rights- my children were very close to being permanently sent off until I decided to switch lawyers (which she argued with me about!). With the new lawyer, the case was closed very quickly. Not only that, she gave me the worst advice which not only stained my record, but also caused this case to be prolonged. My fiance was looking for a family lawyer who specialized in custody. I feel that on the first initial consultation we were gaslighted. She came on strong and wholesome.. she sold herself. We bought. But after sixteen thousands dollars and only one hearing! ONE HEARING !!!We realize the incompetence that followed.. And when we decided to sign her off, she couldn't even come down the stairs from her office and thank us or wish us any kind of good luck in the future. She comes off as a god-faring Christian woman but in the end she's just there to pocket all your change. Her staff was disorganized and always got things mixed up. The staff was also constantly changing. . We were let on to believe things and only pulled more money out of our pocket for it fail.
You will be nickled and dimed for EVERYTHING including her transportation being provided for her all the way down to the smallest note in an email. You will be sent bills and statements that seem extreme for something that could be combined into one simple folder.. We couldn't keep continuing with her services and had to drop her.. Not because we couldn't afford the funds, but because our funds were going to the most ridiculous things. In my experience of lawyers in the past I have never have been nickeled and dimed for even the letter of the alphabet on a piece of paper. Where also the lawyers I have had in the past were also beyond personable, they were extremely professional and made sure that you weren't stressing over doing all the work.. I mean isn't that what you pay them for?. In fact I won my cases.
I've never experienced such a circus in my life.
