After having hired a lawyer and being frustrated with the process, I decided to contact Keystone to get everything with my divorce finished quickly. I am so glad that I did. The ex and I agreed on everything and though we had already done some of the legwork, Keystone helped us button everything up very quickly and efficiently. What would have dragged on for months, ended up being done in about 10 days.
Highly recommend if it is in your budget to do so.

Unless you and your significant other are 100% certain you want a divorce, never use a mediator. They are really only there to help the person filing/willing to pay for their services. The persistence will add continuous pressure to make a decision quickly, even if you are not ready to do so. You should get a lawyer if you are considering divorce. That way the filing of documents can’t happen behind your back. You are guaranteed to receive better transparency and direction as far as laws and your rights by using a lawyer.

-Just remember, mediators do not give legal advise and are not looking out for your best interests.
-Mediation 100% does not provide a fair outcome.
-The mediator is just there to strike a deal for both of you and has no fiduciary duties towards either of you.

A lawyer might be more expensive. However, by using a mediation service the cons almost always outweigh the pros.

My wife found you all through a referral
and from what she says, I would definitely go here if need be. Sometimes a divorce is the last thing you need depending on a lot of unique factors and from what ppl say the great thing about them is whether you choose divorce or to stay together Keystone Mediation really care about their clients and want they want. From what I've been told, they also do a great job at mediating between the two parties to figure out what's in the best interest of all parties involved.I feel like, if and when, I ever need mediation in the future I will definitely come here.

If you are wanting a divorce, mediation is the way to go. It’s sad that society immediately thinks of a lawyer battle when they hear the word divorce. I received a pamphlet for keystone mediation at my counselor’s office. I didn’t know much about mediation, but I wanted to avoid lawyers at all costs, so I contacted Matt’s office to do a consultation. Me and my now ex husband came in and liked what Matt had to say so we stuck with mediation. Luckily me and my ex agreed on most things, but if you don’t, Matt is as neutral of a party as you can get and he always keeps the kids in mind as top priority. He was great at guiding us through this process. I think we completed our entire divorce in maybe 4 sessions with matt and it was only a couple thousand dollars vs several thousands you would pay for a lawyer. We never had to step foot into a court room. Matt draws up all the papers, submits them to the judge, he signs off on them, and that’s it- you’re divorced. I’m writing this review because I want to spread the word about mediation because it’s sad how much money lawyers charge and at the end everybody hates each other. Me and my ex left on an excellent note thanks to Matt’s help, there is no bitterness between us because we resolved all that during mediation, and now we can move forward to coparent together.

Going through a divorce is difficult. It is overwhelming to think of finding and paying for a divorce attorney. Working with Keystone Mediation was very comfortable, very organized and very affordable. We were able to work out property, custody and financial arrangements and finalize the divorce in less than 3 months.
