This public defender, while being knowledgeable and possibly being able to actually do good work.

Fumbled my DCF case entirely.
I am dealing with a home that had been flooded by multiple hurricanes, while only having me and my 78-year-old mother to work on the house with no extra cash.

My children were being taken away because of said home, when I brought it up to my attorney Mr crimechecker multiple occasions in which the caregivers were not taking good care of my children or when rights were violated, I was told by Mr cremencecker that there was nothing he could do because I did not complete my case plan.

The same case plan that DCF changed multiple times originally had only the The kids room to clean up, then turned into the whole house, then turned into the whole house plus the outside.

This man never fought for me. And when it finally came to the trial date he applied for a vacation the Friday before the trial on Monday. To which the judge had to appoint me a new public defender a week before the trial.

A public defender who knew nothing about the case and couldn't really help.

So for anyone out there who actually needs a good public defender or is unfortunately assigned this public defense, try and look elsewhere or maybe get a different attorney.

My kids were giving medication without either of the actual biological parents knowledge and this man did nothing when I brought it up to him other than say " there's nothing I can do, talk to your case manager."

If anyone wants I still have all the text messages and emails to back all of this up.

If I could leave negative 10000 stars I would. The manger Hleb was horrible ! He hung up the phone on me and blocked my number. He stole $1,000 from my settle check ! I will never recommend this law from if you get in a car accident at all. He even told me shut up on the phone many time and hung up me more than three times ! Didn’t want to give me a copy of my documents at all which is super illegal.
