Everything was so gorgeous and I had an amazing time here! Before the end of the trip we planned our return for next year!

I can't wait to go earlier in the year for more fishing and hopefully pinecones that still have nuts!

I think they need to have more lamps around the whole facility for people who come in late at night.Cause it makes it difficult to find the cabins. We stayed in cabin 18.Which is obviously an older cabin.The room had only one elec socket in the bedroom. They ask you to wash the dishes, Not an issue but there were no scrubbers , so if if food was stuck to the pots , we had to boil water to make sure it came off. Since there is no air conditioner I think they should invest in ceiling fans. The scenery is beautiful, the cabins are intune with the area.

Cabin # 20 again receives a 5-star review! My husband caught fish all day long.|Actually came home with a sore shoulder from casting and catching! Fun fishing.|Clean and well-stocked cabins, your outdoor big trash can gets emptied all the time. |Wi-Fi/Internet connection(s) are up and down (location, not LOTW fault at all.) |Bring your own "hot spot" if you have one, will save you a lot of time and aggravation.||Great trip for a week --- we had a blast again! |Love this place.

We stayed in cabin 5. The best thing was the location. It is right by the water. We were able to sit in the patio area and enjoy the cooler temperatures. The inside needs help though. The toilet wasn't bolted down in the front so everytime you sat down it felt like it was going to tip over. The metal bed wasn't the greatest and the floor leaned to the right along with everything else in that area. Don't expect too much from the inside and you wont be disappointed.

Our first time here and we enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the rustic cabin feel and the amenities away from home. Like that they allow our pets. The cabin is in need of many repairs and updates. Beds are not the greatest, but you have a place to lay your head. Will be back again.

To another quick weekend stay here for fall colors and relax visited sunrise ski resort for roller coaster ride and sky lift awesome stay we love it here and staff is always friendly and we always stay in our favorite cabin!! We stay here every year❤️

We recently spend time at one of there cabins called pines it was great location close to water great for fishing which was right below we spent almost 5 days there and its great location has kitchen has essentials for cooking and eating this location does no have ac but for me coming from 90s 115s degree weather was perfect it did not get too hot and at night was in 50s which is perfect and hopelly also if you a no tech at location is great due to wifi almost non existence which is great well for me kids not so much nxt year or soon. We will go back for family vacation

Cabin # 20 is our most "fav" Cabin. Great fishing; great cabin. |You are literally "10 steps" from the Lake. This resort provides for all your needs. One thing you may want to bring is a pair of scissors. Easy for cutting|open your vegetable bags, lettuce bags, or trimming wild flowers. |We bring up our own ground coffee and aluminum foil from home. We also bring up our own Zip Lock bags, spices and "soft" toilet paper. Ha! |And of course --- food! ||Cabin # 20 has a total of three beds // 2 bedrooms. |One bedroom has a queen, the other boasts two (2) twins. |Plenty of couch area in living room to catch up on news or |your fav shows. Kitchen table comes with 4 chairs = there are|2 additional padded chairs located by the fireplace to seat at |the kitchen table; making it a 6 seat table. Plenty of room. |||Indoor fireplace and outdoor grill: Please do not place ashes in |outdoor or indoor garbage cans. The Office has metal cans |(specific for ashes) located by the Recreation Room. |And please always pick up after your pet(s) - it's the right thing to do! |This resort is really super pet friendly, pet policy is on their website. |For your pet's own safety and for the safety of others: |Please keep your dog on a leash --- there are roaming deer and other|roaming wildlife, and additional visiting pets. ||End of September 2023 weather was perfect - low 50's at night; low 80's during the day. We drove up to Alpine, AZ for a day trip - |trees were just starting to turn colors...a few, not most. |Of course the extreme heat this past summer did not help |with this years "color changing event." Darn it! ||Between hubby and I, we caught about 30 fish during our 3.5 day stay. |We used worms and red / white lures and yellow / green lures. |Trust me, there are 4lb.+ Rainbow Trout in that lake! We caught two of them.||For step trackers: you can easily get in 10K steps a day. |Just walk the entire resort up from your cabin to the 260 and back a couple|of times a day! Take your Canine Kid(s) for frequent walks and enjoy|the fresh smell(s) of the abundance of wildflowers and pine trees. ||There is nothing negative I can post about this resort -- for real. |If you are an outdoorsy / cabin-type person, this place is for you, |especially if you fish! We just love Lake of The Woods --- we will |rent there again three (3) times next summer, one week at a time. ||Please leave your cabin clean - pick up after yourself on the grounds.|I am quite sure the staff working there would be appreciative of your efforts.|| We love this place ---- if you are not an outdoorsy type of person| do not stay here. ||The folks at Lake of Woods work hard every day to|make your stay the best experience. All I can say.
