Avoid Lakeland Law Firm at All Costs! Zero Stars!

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Lakeland Law Firm was so frustrating that I felt compelled to share. From start to finish, this firm was a complete disappointment.

First off, the communication was abysmal. I called multiple times to get updates on my case, only to be left on hold for ages or to have my calls never returned. When I did manage to speak with someone, they were unhelpful and seemed completely disinterested in my situation.

The legal advice I received was generic and seemed more like a template than personalized counsel. I expected a level of expertise and professionalism, but instead, I felt like I was just another case number in a stack. The lack of attention to detail and the poor quality of the advice led to a lot of unnecessary stress and delays.

To make matters worse, the billing was a nightmare. I was charged for services I never received and had to repeatedly question and contest their charges. Transparency was nonexistent, and the billing department was as unresponsive as the rest of the firm.

In the end, not only did I not get the resolution I needed, but I also felt that my case was mishandled. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Lakeland Law Firm—they are far from the competent professionals they claim to be.

I never post reviews, but after seeing some of these fake reviews I felt I had to. Katie has represented me for over 10 years, yes you read that correct 10 years and I can honestly say that she is the BEST attorney period. If you are looking for an attorney in greater Milwaukee she should be your first and only call. She is a wealth of knowledge, tells you straight and will fight on your behalf. Before you read the reviews that have never even used her services, give her a call and see the difference for yourself.

Defense attorney Kate Babe is incredibly helpful. Lakeland Law does no advertising/promotions, but this place is the real deal. I was recommended here by multiple others and after a free consultation I can definitely see why (comparing to multiple other free consultations). They charge a more customer friendly Retention + Hourly Rate (customer is refunded whatever was not used hourly, compared to the massive, non refundable flat fees almost every other defense attorney charges). Kate answered all of my questions and put in extra effort to guide me, even when she found out I will not be retaining a lawyer for my case! Truly selfless, the most affordable, the most knowledgeable. I know where I will turn in case anyone I love gets into trouble.
