Josh no lie is the worse lawyer I have ever had the misfortune to need his services. He handled my divorce. I swear him and my ex wifes lawyer and the Judge were all in cahoots together to screw me over. I had to miss a hearing because I was in the hospital. After the hearing he called me briefly and said that the judge put the hearing off another 30 days we made and appt to get together go over prehearing stuff. He missed ever appt we had I rescheduled with his secretary just about everyday and every appt we had that month he missed without a reason why or even a call back. I tried to teach out to him and did not speak with him at all until 5 mins before our zoom hearing he called me and told me that in the last hearing the judge gave me 30ndays to come up with money to buy my wife out of the house and if I didnt have the money today the judge was going to allow my wife to sell my home. I was working on getting the money but thought I had more time. Josh didnt even join the hearing he stayed in the zoom waiting room and never joined the judge marked me as absent and when I spoke and told him I was there because he was only address my exwife and he attorney the judge kicked me out of the hearing and did not let me back in and Josh was still in the waiting room didnt attempt to get in and didnt speak up on my behalf he just let it all go down . Afterwards there was an emergency hearing scheduled and Josh quit on me 2ndays before the hearing and the judge would not allow me to get another attorney to represent me and they proceeded to take away my visitation right with my son. I went with cheap for representation because of my situation Josh took advantage of me amd allowed the judge to hang up on me with my ex attorney amd they took everything and made me pay my wifes attorneys fees of $17K. Do not use Joshua Law he is the absolute worse I recieved no help from the Florida bar as well all they did was send him a letter which resulted in nothing. Turned a bad situation into a.nightmare still fighting to get my visitation rights back. I hate to say this was racially charged but my ex was white and I am black . The system screwed me straight up. He is the worse and should have his license revoked. Please do not allow him to sabotage your case like he did me because I was already losing my family. He helpe my exwife take me for everything. He only recieved a star because I couldnt post this with giving him 1star. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN.

Im giving 2 stars because the lawyer assigned to me was nice and polite but didnt know my name. But it was almost impossible to get a call back and the few times I called the team seemed annoyed I had questions and would give the run around as to not transfer me to Josh. The lawyer given to me forgot about things we talked about the day before and i specifically asked not to be assigned to him. I was told they would put it in the notes and low and behold they kept me assigned to him despite my request. I ended up getting a new lawyer and am so happy I did.

Scam! Talked a big game and never showed for 2 court zoom meetings. Both times saying the Judge wouldn’t let him in. The second time, we waited around 15 minutes for him to join. Then out of no where doesn’t respond to emails or calls, totally went ghost. Unacceptable and unprofessional!

After 3 years I was able to get a signed declaration of paternity though It took hiring another attorney to do what this office was not capable of. I give 2 stars for the lessons learned beginning with not hiring an attorney that is quick to take your case without first learning your situation. I had police reports of abuse and if and when their mom was in the state and available, took the children into situations that were not well to say the least, when the location was even known. The retainer did not cover any motions towards the goals set in the 5 minute consultation. This case was allowed to sit idle at times until a motion to dismiss due to lack of prosecution was given , thenwhen I would receive a request for refresher fees. Multiple times my ex and I came to agreements that Josh law refused to entertain. He would not entertain my request for a GAL. It was only when a social worker assigned thru my youngest preschool was asking me questions that I could only answer with ,my attorney knows about this and the past three years worth of concerns, and contacted his office telling them the same things did they call me back stating there were valid and credible concerns needing addressed immediately. I refused to pay another 750 for a motion stating the lack of information in the motion that was available to them causing failure of previous motions. They offered to file without further payment. When that motion sat idle 2 months due to the way it was filed I obtained new counsel. After the transfer of counsel I made request for information to josh law and received only parts of what I asked for and an offer to write me a check for 500 dollars if I’d sign a non disclosure agreement. I couldn’t be any more offended by this office and suggested they refund the full amount given the situations the children endured during those years.

New council was able to have the declaration, bypassing mediation, and orders giving the safety and security needed signed and in my hand that this office promised years prior in less than 3 months. The reviews saying this office does not call back or return emails are true as emails I sent went unread. It took calling the bar to contact them to have a return call around the time the social worker wanted to speak with him. Emails that sat unanswered included a draft from my account 2 weeks after a refresher fee they could not explain. Josh Law taught me about the side of family law that needs attention and reminder that good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good. Also there’s a huge difference in legal counsel and legal aide and not to expect proper representation by someone who doesn’t take the time to know your family/situation. After all the calls over the time they did “represent” me the question always asked do the children live with you? Given they never moved to finalize my paternity I suppose they knew how insecure the situation really was. There’s more though that’s a good portion of my experience.

I can't thank him enough for everything he did for me and my kids. When I finally decided to file for divorce after coming from a very abusive marriage, my ex-husband did everything he could to punish me and my kids. After I got a restraining order against him, things got worse and he left us with zero financial support.
My previous attorney didn't do much and eventually left me because of the complexity of my case.

I can start off by saying that prior to hiring Josh and his team I was having a hard time finding a attorney due to my case being closed. Myself and Josh met over the phone being I'm in California. After reviewing my case he agreed on taken it on. Now Josh was very very honest from the get go and said to me tour case is a disaster and it will take TIME. I said for sure and from that moment foward Josh took over.
