*** I did not hire this attorney and if you want someone that cares you shouldn't either.

I did reach out to him for assistance in working through probate for my mother. Not only did he base his response on his inability to read an email, but his main response was this:

"For a straight probate of a will case, it is very small and hardly worth my time."

As someone who just experienced a tragic loss to be told my business would not be worth his time is abhorrent. This guy is crass and uncaring and shouldn't be handling any probate cases. Hopefully karma does it's job.

His is a great Attorney .I have used him several times to take care of business. He is Attorney that is always got time for his clients. If he is in the office he will always talk to anyone over the phone for questions if you need help. Great Attorney.

He should’ve resigned or been forced to resign. He is solely responsible for the horrific abuse of a 2 year old at the time. She was adopted and very loved and cared for until her birth mother changed her mind. He adopted mother showed proof after proof to this judge and doctors at the Dallas Hospital. They swept the photos under a rug. Lauren was returned to her birth mother at 2 years old and not heard of Y Ty Iagain for 6 years when she was rescued by a neighbor from a closet covered in head lice and dirt. Her privates were completely ripped mangled and this judge was presented with the facts with the pictures as proof. However hard to look at that is his job isn’t it? To face the facts? Then determine the best course of action for said situation? He dropped the ball BIG TIME and at he very least he should step down then write a list of children he may have also failed and fed to the lions so they may be re-rescued as well! SHAME ON YOU!!

Why is he even still a judge after mrs Barbara presented evidence that this 2 year old girl is leaving and coming back with marks he still insisted on leaving Lauren with those monsters. He quoted and said “you showing pictures will do more harm then the mother ever will “ that is insane she was trying to save the little girl and YOU as a judge failed her for life . And yes her mom did way more harm than anyone could ever do in her lifetime. That girl is still suffering severely till this day at the age of 30 . You did more harm than good if you ask me . Everyone look up LAUREN KAUVAUGN Story . He says he followed the law but by law when you see a child is suspected of abuse you’re supposed to investigate not sweep it under the rug . All the signs were there and judge MARKAM failed this little girl .

This guy is a crook. Wish I had seen other the reviews. Will try to take your money. He didn't properly intake me as a client and wasted my time and money. Won't return calls or emails. Wouldn't be saying this if he had been more clear or straight forward about things. I found another lawyer that was straight to the point and cares for the people he does business with. If you need a good probate or estate lawyer look up Michael Boltz.

Wish I could give a minus 0 star.. I would never have this man as an attorney . He was a judge and sat on the bench and knew a child was getting abused. I’m assuming he got a kick out of it because he’s ruling was to let it continue (even with evidence) he did not know with any kind of allegations like that with him being in the position he was in he was at the very least supposed to have it investigated before sending her back. So yes, the only conclusion I have, and I’m sure other people have is that he wanted it to happen.

I wish I would have looked at these reviews before I hired him. Although he was reimbursed through my legal insurance plan, he was reimbursed for meetings that did not occur. Do not use him. He does not return my phone calls after he received a large reimbursement. This would be considered fraud.
