Michael Lampe is a respected lawyer in the community and uses his skills for the betterment of Tulare County. His associate however, Michael Smith, marches to the beat of a different drummer. Mr. Smith was paid by my very elderly father to evict my husband, me, and my kids from our homestead. When Mr. Smith was informed that the eviction might kill my son he doubled down on his legal threats and charges, ironically one of which was elderly financial abuse. When he couldn't evict us because we had a life estate, he sued and we did not have the money to fight. We were then sued three more times. During the fourth suit, when he found out my son was dying, he piled on the threats such as charging us interests, sanctioning us, requesting a jury trial, threatening that we would have to pay his legal fees. While my son was in the ICU fighting for his life, my husband and I were filling out legal documents, fed exing, showing up for court, filing court paperwork, in between holding vigil at our son's hospital bed. We went to a court date on Friday and our son died on Sunday. We asked but we were not given a stay while he was in the hospital nor after he died to grieve.

Not a good place stay away these people tried taking advantage of my family thought they didn't have the proper paperwork tried to charge them twice. Debra is very rude has very bad and rude customer service imagine a family that don't speak English very well and don't want to argue with a lawyer just pay?
