This place is a joke! Met with an attorney, started off great. Compiled a file for me and was about to file in court for custody of my child. We have a phone meeting one day and all seemed fine. 5 min later I get a call back from the paralegal saying my attorney is no longer with the firm and that I needed to be put with another. Few days go by and I’m contacted by another attorney who just drags me along and doesn’t follow up with calls. Case was never filed with the courts and they just threw my file from lawyer to lawyer in their offices.
Please don’t waste your time here.

They have been a big help! We've been going through a lot since the unexpected death of a dear friend. We really needed legal assistance, but could not afford it. Mandy McIlwain has done a great job helping us. She is friendly and highly competent. We look forward to her continued help with our case.

Was told that they couldn't help me because I'm not in the county, eventhough I am a victim of domestic violence and funds are set aside for victims like myself. Instead my ex husband gets to sit behind legal aid and Luisa White and Austin and have funds set aside for victims, she decides which narcissist piece of garbage to defend while having the state pay for it. Way to go. You're a horrible office and you should all be ashamed of how this is ran. Completely agree with Jennifer!

Oh my gosh, these people, especially Ann, were so helpful for my granddaughter and her boyfriend who were being taken advantage of by a landlord who was terrible to them . Ann came to help them and she was great! We are so grateful to her for her assistant in getting them a fair deal . Thank you so much Ann!

The phone system is easy to navigate. They were extremely friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. They corresponded back through the mail very quickly. I highly recommend Southwest Missouri legal aid

They do not have any idea what time is. I have tried to get help. No one will have any answers to the questions. They are incompetent and inconsistent. Why can't I get any answers to my questions? Waste of time.
