Try to get help with custody battle against abusive former ex husband. Currently has kids due to lies and his lawyer taking advantage that I did not have representation and don't know the laws. I was recommended to call here for help. However they are either without a practicing Family Law attorney or you never get a return call. The say its our right to have free legal aid. Yet there's nothing there to use to help us, and they don't seem to care. Try and call a different legal aid office and they tell you they can't help bc they're all only allowed to help those in their designated counties. It's bull!

Referred me to a third party to have them screen me (Council and Advocacy law line). Took mos to reach an attorney. Denied me help in my abusive marriage because they only have five lawyers working and i wasnt physically abuse so i was disqualified. And i am too poor to pay out of pocket. As my spouse continues to blackmail, emotionally, verbally, and financially abuse me. Would not recommend this place to anyone

I called several times before a message was sent to me and idk even know if it helped they need to respond better or woth more alternatives I need representation on different areas of business and I don't even know where to go from our consult

Just finished talking with them and to be honest all you get is a big run around. There seems to be no "legal services" as in sitting down with an attorney and actually get help. All they want to do is give legal "advice over the phone" and tell you to shop around for a lawyer. I was told they are "under staffed".

if u and your family wants to be homeless and be treat as if your not a human while trying your best lose everything you have ever earned legally then go ahead and be bamboozled by pam George and here thugs at legal aid you will end up in a bad mental state if u don't have the right support.
