Attorney Robert Rodriguez was irresponsible throughout my whole case. Similar to Latoya Lavysh, he either wouldn’t answer all of my questions and concerns or wouldn’t answer at times completely. He abandoned my case as well and even told me to find a different attorney but only told me this in a email 19 minutes before my case was about to start. He stated he sent me a letter two months ago, but he said he didn’t know why I didn’t receive it. The letter stated that he was closing his office down Is what I was told by him and that’s why he couldn’t help us . My case was in October and throughout the times I’ve emailed him he never thought to mention that he was shutting down his office or at least mention that at this point I should find a new attorney. INSTEAD, he still proceed to act as the help and not answer certain questions and avoid the questions altogether. For the letter, I’ve asked in person to see the copy of this letter that he sent out to me ,but he couldn’t find it in his office which is extremely weird and proceeded to say, he must have left it in his “other” office. Which doesn’t make much sense but even if he was closing down his office, wouldn’t you at least keep my case still open to at least attend to it there It doesn’t stop there. We believe at this point that if you aren’t gonna show up to court or even give the judge the PAPERWORK, then what was the reason of giving our money away to someone who wouldn’t help. Well we thought the same and asked for our money back. In response he said no, and said “he earned it”. Which the only thing he really did was set up a date and what the circumstances were but again to restate, he didn’t show up to court nor sent in any of the paperwork to the judge. Another thing to mention before hiring him as your attorney, I’d like you to research his name in the state bar of California. He is not eligible to practice law in California. This was discovered right after the incident in court and when I asked him why he never mentioned this to me , he stated “I don’t have to tell you that”. As late as 2015 to present day all of his records showed he wasn’t eligible to practice law in California in the first place. This is no form of defamation but rather the truth. He basically took our money and didn’t do anything to help. He even said the judge “doesn’t know anything” during my encounter with him. He was rude and unpleasant and he has caused me and my family a form of emotional distress as now we have to go back to square one as Latoya stated as well. To take away from this review, Do not require the services of this attorney.

I hired this attorney he had my daughters case and filed a lawsuit with the courts and never served the other party never gave me any information on the case court dates Ect he basically Abandon my daughters case and I’m back to square one I had a court date today and the judge gave me time to have the other party served as well as fine new legal representation I was also informed to file a complaint with the bar. Very bad service I don’t recommend this guy to any

Update to my last review because I was voice typing & didn’t proof read. Mr Rodriguez like I said abandoned my daughters case would not return calls then tried to blame all the work he didn’t do on Covid 19 shut down I’ve filed a complaint with the Bar & pursue my complaint that way. He is very unprofessional & I hope no other person has to go threw what I went threw dealing with that man.

This lawyer is a scammer, please be aware of him and report him to your local authorities he just takes your money and does not put in the work he tends to abandon alot of cases like mine, please people save your money and your time.
