I highly recommend NOT to hire! All the one-star reviews listed here are painfully relatable per my personal experience! Jason Lile set me back further in my case than before I hired him. Actually, I never specifically hired Jason. Somehow, when I contacted Wirth Law Firm for an attorney, they assigned him to me, who then, shortly after, got fired from that company (which was not disclosed to me until wasted months later).
At first, Jason heard me out and proceeded to make it seem as if he had my back and all of my issues were going to be taken care of. However, Jason was very little talk and even less action. Once he got my money, he essentially ignored me and made excuses about not having my case notes every single time. When I finally was able to speak with him on the phone, he said he was going to do all these things to help my case, and he never followed through with any of them. Wasted months of my time and about $3,250, all for nothing. If anything was done, he made his paralegal, Rebecca, do these tasks. However, it turns out that Rebecca was really good friends with the opposing counsel. That's already a conflict of interest, and it was made very apparent to me.
All I was initially trying to do was get a child support modification for an aging out child in August. I hired Wirth/Jason mid August 2023. There were other things I wanted to accomplish as well, which again, Jason said he would take care of, but absolutely nothing was successfully completed, including the child support modification. Right before I had enough of his behavior and fired him, approximately six months later, he (well his paralegal Rebecca) told me that she was going to be submitting the child support modification to the judge that afternoon (per a phone conversation we had the morning of February 22, 2024). I was like, "Finally!". Well, this NEVER happened. To this day. The only thing “he” did while being my “attorney” was file a Motion to Modify Child Support, a petition for me to appear virtually, served my ex with discovery request (which wasn’t accurately updated), and a Motion to Construe the Decree. However, nothing resulted from any of these motions. Again, all talk, little to no action. Actually, there wasn’t even much talk either since, as I mentioned earlier, every time he actually got on the phone with me he was never in front of my case and always said he would get back to me once he was in front of my file (which never once happened). Furthermore, he seemed upset that I would call and made me feel as if I was a bother. It was extremely discouraging and aggravating.
In summary, I had to hire another attorney to get my child support modification finalized and signed by the judge. What should have been a simple child support modification, Jason ended up costing me and extra $3,250 and over 5 additional months of my time (which in turn cost me more money as it bled into another issue with my ex which was supposed to have been handled, as well).
So, if you want to waste time and money and be mentally drained, Jason Lile is your guy!
Edit/update: He messaged me about my review shortly after I posted it. He mentioned that I used “textbook defamation” in my review, when nothing in my review was false information. I told him I would delete it for the time being and write a new one. Thinking he would maybe apologize or explain himself. However, Jason never owned up to the way he acted while being my attorney in our recent text messages, and never told me why he took $3,250 from me and never submitted the child support modification. He simply stopped responding after blaming his actions on his fired paralegal, Rebecca (per Jason himself). So, once again, I would not recommend Jason as an attorney to anyone. He lacks genuineness and accountability.
