For 10 months we have been waiting for her to file a motion. She is the absolute worst! Save your money! She doesn’t care about you or the kids. She is a nasty person. Completely unprofessional. She has done nothing, but cause more problems. She is not helpful at all.

The court appointed her as the GAL for my case to represent my kids in a custody dispute that was going on for three years. She didn't listen to me at all and was very accusatory. She spoke to my ex first and seemed she had already made up her mind when I got to my appointment to talk to her. She treated me like a criminal and wouldn't listen to any of my reasons at all and cut me off frequently to ask another question before I could explain anything. She treated me as if I was on the stand instead of gathering information for an investigation. She talked to me for less than 1.5 hours and that was it for the ENTIRE investigation despite my reaching out to answer any questions she may have regarding the evidence I gave her. Our custody case was 3 years long. Yet she gave me less than two hours of her time.
I provided her with a binder of evidence for my case of which she destroyed and did not give back to me even though I told her I wanted it back in case we went to trial. It was supposedly scanned in, and I am supposed to receive a flash drive with it at some point. we will see if that actually happens. I was under the impression that all client papers must be returned to them or kept for 5-7 years.
She gave the report of her findings during her "investigation" at the close of business the day before our scheduled mediation after my lawyer and my ex's lawyer called asking for it. This left no time for our lawyers to review it and discuss it with our counsel. It was as if she'd forgotten about it then threw something together the day before. She did not talk to my son's teachers/therapists/or the social worker who did my kids' supervised visits.

Seems I am not the only one dissatisfied with her work as I see in the reviews as well as in the single mother community I'm a part of. I have not heard positive comments/opinions about her. Only negative.

I do NOT recommend her at all for anything whatsoever. She was awful.

Rebecca, and her associate John, were extremely professional in helping me file my divorce. Rebecca ensured that I was fair to myself when it came to the division of assets. She is an excellent advocate for her clients and John does an outstanding job ensuring that clients understand the legal processes involved. Rates and fees are very reasonable, they are an absolute pleasure to work with.

Don't bother taking proof, documentation, signed contracts or anything to mediation. She will not even look at it.

Her mediation style is highly offensive. I am not a confrontational person at all, which is actually one of my biggest weaknesses. She made me feel like I HAD to defend myself, instead of being a neutral arbitrator like she says she is. And by defend, with her refusal to look at any proof and documentation, it basically is her assumptions versus what you know and can prove, and she doesn't really care what you can prove. Oh, and her neutral, she only came into the room to yell at me, whereas she was socializing with the other party enough to look at pictures on their phone. She let a diagnosed Narcisstic Bipolar schizophrenic feel like he's now at will to do whatever he wants because he had no negative consequences at all for his actions. Because of her suggestion that my parents would forgive the $35,000 loan, he now has NO intentions of repaying the loan, thus forcing me to repay it because it HAS to be paid.

Thanks Rebecca. I appreciate the forced misery you've enabled for the next 3 years. :/

Her assistant is great but she is lazy. Will absolutely not fight for you. I think she takes to many cases and can’t stay organized. Plus we waited 6 hrs on a judge that never showed up. She charged me $250 an hr the entire time!

Made an appointment to talk with her for my wife and I. Her administrative assistant was giving legal advice over the phone and was very negative about our chances. He however is not an attorney and broke the law by giving Legal commentary as well. When we showed up we were given a clip board requesting social security numbers, wage and employer information, children’s social security numbers and a slew of other personal financial information....all of this to just meet with this woman and decide if we were a good fit. We told the receptionist that we were not comfortable providing our financial documentation for a consultation until we determined she was the right lawyer for us. Her assistant ( an unkept man in wrinkled pants and a campaign shirt who was very effeminate) came out and rudely asked why we wouldn’t fill out the paperwork. We replied that it was very invasive and presumptive until we agreed to hire her. He replied well you don’t see a Dr without giving this information. I replied well all due respect she isn’t a dr. He waved his hands and said ok goodbye were done.....my wife and I were like damn right we are skippy...Avoid this Attorney at all costs. Very shady very unprofessional. I believe the positive reviews are friends and family trying to counter the large number of poor reviews. Seriously we drove an hour to meet this woman and agree to her $300 an hour cost......why would I give her my personal financial info just to meet with her?
