My experience with Michael Loeffler has been a very positive one. It is always difficult finding an attorney that you can trust with your most personal issues, but Mike made it very easy for me and handled everything right away. I live out of state, so Mike made sure to file all the paperwork that would allow me to appear at court telephonically. He has been very sympathetic and understanding, and was very easy to get a hold of. I will be forever grateful for all Mike's help; because of him I have my children with me again. I would recommend Mr. Loeffler to anyone because of his knowledge of law as well as his organization and tenacity.

I first met Michael early in a leagal matter where I was seeking advice and counsel. Mike listened to my situation and offered his professional opinion and gave me the information I needed. I returned to Mike at a later time to retain his services as my counsel, he listened to what I had to say, and accepted my case, even though it reached across international waters, and required time, effort and skill. It was going to be a tough case.
After that, it was as if I were his main priority case. He constructed my (our) case from virtually nothing. His communication with me was top notch, keeping me informed at every turn. Mike will give you the facts of the matter, he will listen to your point of view and guide you in a very professional and ethical manner. Mike is an attorney with a high level of integrety, knowledge and will champion your position using his vast experience and knowledge in the rules of law. He is willing to negotiate with opposing counsel, but will play hard ball and go the distance, as he did for me. I can't thank him enough for such a fine job and the relentless effort that he, and his staff provided for my case. I would highly recommend Michael as your attorney, he is dedicated, ethical, highly professional, and will stand up for you, even when you feel like the chips are down. GREAT JOB MIKE!!!!!

President Teddy Roosevelt once said: "Speak softly and carry a big stick", that is Mr. Loeffler.

Background: My case was very complicated with many interim separations throughout the marriage, and to be honest, I went into the business of divorce with supreme skepticism to hire an attorney, as I subscribe to the wisdom that only a fool fights a fight he/she knows he/she will not win.

I was dealt an uncompromising ex-wife (and her attorney) with egregious demands to surrender it all to her; I faced an ex-wife reluctant to consider a fair settlement to spare us the waste. She vowed to "take me to the cleaners"; it was “no deal; whatever the judge says”. The latter was proven later in the case as we (Mr. Loeffler and I) submitted a settlement proposal that sat unanswered by the opposing party for over a year, as if it hadn’t existed (over two years later the opposing party agreed to a deal very close to our original proposal-figure that).

Originally, I was only thinking economics, so I contracted the services of For The People (I thank them deeply for sending me to Mr. Loeffler) here in Modesto, to help me with divorce paperwork, because in my mind it seemed foolish to pay hefty attorney fees only to participate in a court fight I believed I would not win: To me, the complexity of the game (the legal system) seems rigged with the odds stacked up against the straight shooter, and favors the slackers, double-crossers and deceivers. That’s a huge load if you own the burden of proof!

A manager at For The People handed me Mr. Loeffler's business card, and I first sensed a supreme irony as I read the back of Mr. Loeffler's business card which states: "Compassionate Representation". It all seemed rhetorical at the time; nevertheless, I followed the advice given to me by For The People, so I visited Mr. Loeffler's law office. My interview with Mr. Loeffler revealed an honorable man; two and a half years later I attest that it is true-Compassionate Representation is what he does, and he is also GENEROUS where he can.

I’ll simply state here that Mr. Loeffler invested intense and very tough work throughout my case-tough work is the correct phrase. He maintained full reporting and consultation with me via emails, sometimes seemingly overwhelming, but to be clear, this was a necessary cost to succeed. I’ll just say he doesn’t just takes your money; he earns it. He and his wife will become your friends at the end.

In summary let me quantify our success: The victory is his, mine are the spoils: I estimate my losses to be only a fraction of their original potential, but most importantly, I GOT MY LIFE AND DIGNITY BACK; my case should have been a Grenada case for the opposing attorney (meaning virtually unopposed or a slam dunk)-Au contraire. DO NOT UNDER-ESTIMATE Mr. Loeffler-he carries "the iron fist in the velvet glove". Trust him; fallow his lead.

IF I could give this Charlatan a -100 I would. He took my $8K and didn't adequately represent me. At the end of it all; I was still married and my wife I got 100% custody. I had to hire another lawyer to fix his mess.
He is incompetent. Stay away!
