I was very unsure how mediation would go based off all of the reviews I read on here but my attorney recommended her so we went with her. To say my case was difficult would be an understatement. My ex and I could not agree on anything and I thought for sure this would be a waste of time and money. Marge had a way based of all of her personal and professional experiences to settle this and honestly I am still in shock. She was very clear and constantly reminded us that this was about the best interest of our child and not our feeling towards each other. I would highly recommend her if you need mediation.

She is a terrible person to talk w in her office. While speaking w the moms attorney She compared me to her serial killer neighbor. Im the primary custodial parent because the mom is not good, didn't show up for 1st meeting and was still given every opportunity to get whatever "Marge" thought she deserved. Terrible.

She was the GAL for a case involving our 3 Grandchildren. When we tried setting up our first meeting with her they were very uncooperative to set a time that work with our work schedule. The day that we finally got to meet with her we arrived on time and where keep waiting for almost a half hour past meeting time. She had meet with the other party and had already made up her mind that they would be the best choice as Guardians for our Grandkids with out even meeting us. She made accusations about my husband abusing our oldest daughter when she was younger with no proof of any kind. I could go on and on about this her but I think I’ve proved what an awful person she is!

Marge Breclaw was appointed by the Court to serve as a GAL in a family law case. I observed Marge to be unethical. She fabricated stories on multiple accounts, she returned a single( your read that number correct "1") phone call made to her office over an 2 year period, she's highly uncooperative, and her most prominent feature is her abundance of incompetence. In fact, she doesn't even understand the depths and responsibilities of a GAL as set forth under Indiana Statue.

About the only concept and phrase Marge concerns herself with is, "I need more money, I'm operating way in the negative here."

In summation, if you're the type of person who enjoys dealing with unethical, ignorant and incompetent individuals then by all means Marge is the one for you! However, for the majority of us, you won't want to come within a 10 mile radius of the old hag.

She was wonderful!!! I highly recommend. Made the process so much easier for my ex-husband and I to get every issue taken care of and agreed upon leaving no stone unturned with school costs and child support extra circular costs. Childsupprt arearge to date she calculated. I was more then pleased with how much she goes above and beyond to make sure each of us were satisfied before signing the papers.. This woman loves what she does and to help others and is great at what she does!!

She was my court appointed GAL, she didn’t care to look at or hear anything I had to say regarding my ex withholding my son for months. Apparently moms could do whatever they want bc theyre custodial. She could make false allegations with no proof just her words while I have all the proof in the world that it never happened, but she never looked at it didn’t even care to hear it. Me defending myself from false allegations that are going to make me lose my son means I’m blaming mom and she can’t have that bc mom is amazing. ANYONE WITH EYES AND THE ABILITY TO READ could see the clear pattern my ex has of limiting my parenting time and manipulating situations to her behalf.

Marge Breclaw was the court appointed mediator for my case and the experience with her was awful. She clearly did NOT read the files from the case, as I was forced to be in the same room with my ex-husband who is barred from being near me as per a court order. I was NOT informed or even asked if I would allow this. I was forced to sit across from my abuser with no consideration of my safety, my concerns let alone the court order. Marge Breclaw took numerous personal calls during the mediation. As well as texted individuals and shared this information with all persons present in mediation that was in fact what she was doing. She was rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, crass and lacked any compassion for the complexity of the case. At one point she looked at me and stated “What’s your problem?” After I stated I was abused by my husband for 20 years her response was as follows “That’s, your fault mom! You should’ve left a long time ago! That’s on you!” She continued to berate me, victim shame me, yell, exhibit unparrelled unprofessionalism of which I have never seen. She attempted to bully me into allowing my ex husband to have a gun collection or at minimum the key to his EXTENSIVE gun collection. This was a CLEAR indication she did not read the case. My ex-husband has a order of protection where he is Brady Disqualified. He is NOT allowed to have weapons due to his violent behavior towards me and a court of law ruled I was to have them. Despite the the clear ruling of the judge, Marge Breclaw stared “what’s wrong with you that you can’t give him his guns? You need to give him the key, what is your problem?” Marge Breclaw should be ashamed of herself by blaming the victim - ME, forcing me, the victim to be in close proximity of my abuser - a violation of the order of protection in place to protect me. Breclaw was attempting to force me to violate a court order pertaining an extensive gun collection. Her appalling statement blaming me “that’s your fault, mom. You should’ve left a long time ago! That’s on you!” Is disgusting and unforgivable. Victims of domestic violence run away!!! Marge Breclaw will not protect you!!

She did not even look at any of the evidence i had brought in. Nor did she go over any of the proof i had showing my ex as a lier and planned taking me to court when my son turned 14 which she did. In the end i had to walk away from my kids because it was easier for them not to keep them going through this. I made the ultimaye sacrifice and truly believed going into this i was going to get my ex put in jail for violating court order visitation over and over again. But everyone believed my ex even though she had no hard evidence other then words. I had everything showing the exact opposite of what she was claiming. Its a shame margr breclaw doesnt care and blames the father when the mother alienated my kids from me and taught them to hate their step mother. I love my kids and only hope. When they see the truth they will come back around. I love them.
