Not only did I file a complaint with the disciplinary board, but jaimi, You weren’t any part of it. We never had a difference of opinion, he literally ignored everything we told him, went into the habeas without any knowledge or preparation. Every single thing we were told wouldn’t matter, we’re the only things that did. He looked like a deer in the headlights. He wouldn’t answer the question that was asked 3 times, that would have proven my case. The fact that I paid him to represent me through this entire case, and had to hire someone else due to his incompetence, should entitle me to a refund of sort. But I guess lesson learned.! To add insult to injury, I had 2 of his other clients files in my folder!!!!! And part of mine is missing! **

I hate to leave negative marks for anyone. However, unfortunately, I have to here. Matthew may be good with custody, but he is not in criminal matters. I’ve retained new counsel as Mr parsons did NOTHING to fight in my case on any level. It’s been damn near a year. Communication was forced, and lack of care was apparent. I was the client. No one else. There were constant excuses, and when he did appear on my behalf, he was not prepared or even knowledgeable. My husband got upset a few times because of it, and lost his Temper. I never believed someone in Parsons position could make a clear case worse, but he did. He didn’t even know simple answers. Everything he said didn’t matter, did. The things that were low on the pole, were what he focused on, and never mattered. Matthew is a nice guy. For the most part. But he doesn’t match any of his advertisements. He is no shark. He is a guppy. I paid him $3000, and have nothing to show for it except a botched habeas.

He was my 2nd lawyer for my divorce. I didn’t think it could get worse than my 1st one (Chad Rosen) but boy did it ever!

He charges a flat $2000 rate till the divorce is done. He says that includes as many letters, calls, emails etc. until i contacted him about something. I was told “what do you want me to write in this letter, I mean I can draw a smiley face and send it if you would like”. Another time during a phone call he said “ boy you are really cutting into my lunch time with all these questions “

He wrote 1 letter then waited 1 month for any response. When there was no response he wouldn’t do anything unless I told him to do something. (Write another)

I filed for divorce 1 1/2 years ago and I’m not 1 bit further along than I was the day I filed. I’ve had him for several months now & he has only wrote 2 letters, and I told him what to put in them.

He talks down to me, Very rude
In his tone and acts like every question is a dumb one.

He didn’t have his ducks in a row about my case when i walked in. Doesn’t even know how many retirements my ex has.

My ex has a pension, and he knows absolutely nothing on how to deal with it!!!

He might be ok for a divorce that just needs filed but otherwise Don’t Waste your money!

I'm on to my 3rd lawyer now!

If I could give Matt zero stars I would. Him and Jaimi are unorganized, lazy and unprepared. We wasted thousands of dollars on a lawyer who couldn't win a case with factual proof. He was constantly intimidated by opposing counsel. We used him for child support and custody. Child support he was provided all proof income was incorrect. He stood in front of the judge after charging $300 to say ABSOLUTELY nothing. We appealed the case and went in solo with all the same proof and child support was adjusted properly. He wasn't able to get more custody awarded because he focuses on irrelevant information and cannot properly build a case. I dont have a law degree and was able to fix things he couldn't. Worst lawyer in Mercer and surrounding areas. Save your money and time.
