Avoid working with Todd! I was supposed to close on property im selling today at noon. When i got there Todd said there was an issue with my mortgage company and we couldn't close today. He said he had been trying to get the pay off from them for 2 weeks, and there was a lein on the property. I drove 225 miles to be at this meeting. I asked why he didnt call me, he said he had emailed me. I checked and he had sent the email that same day at ten. I then said lets call the mortgage co and figure this out because i know there isnt a lein on the property. He said he had to be somewhere in 9 minutes. I asked what i am supposed to do to straighten this out. He shrugged, got in his car and drove off. I called the mortgage company and they said there wasn't a lein on the property and they had sent Metropolitan everything they had asked for last week ! Luckily Megan from Metropolitan was willing to do Todd's job for him and we were able to close today. Todd is without a doubt one of the most unprofessional people ive attempted to do business with. Hope he enjoyed skipping out on us, leaving us high and dry, while he went to lunch

Just left the longest closing in history. Everything was done on a iPad thanks to COVID. That was a joke. It kept glitching and hanging up. Then they handed us a check. I said oh you’re not wiring this to the other title company? She said no ma’am you get a check. We were like ok. When we left we called our lender for the house we are purchasing and said what do we do with this check? They didn’t wire it. She said turn around. They have to wire the money. Well 3 hours into the ordeal and only 4 hours away from our next closing they refused to wire the money so now we are at our bank hoping they get it to the next closing in time! What a mess! Thank you to MERIDIAN TITLE for helping us with this situation. Metropolitan title...we will never use your services again.

Absolutely horrible service. I tried to sell my house through BrightStar realty. The buyers requested title insurance and when they did the title search they applied people to the title that we're never on the title then required me to pay off judgments and liens that were not affiliated with my property. There were several liens that I had in regards to judgments that I had received emailed settlements for and they refused to accept the settlements because they were not in written form they were in email. They were then going to require me to pay off the full amount. This titling company is an absolute joke.
