I'm a DIY guy but 2 of my Boiler zones went out the week of Thanksgiving and I did what repairs I could but needed my new step down transformer wired properly since I fried the old one because the original installer did a custom wire job and I couldn't make head or tails of any of the mess. I wasn't familiar with plumbers in the area so I started calling around. One place had horrible customer service skills with a guy basically talking down to me and at one point yelling at me because he couldn't understand what I was trying to tell him. Another place couldn't come out for two weeks, but they suggested MK.
Corey from MK came out first thing Monday morning after Thanksgiving. Up until Corey arrived, they kept me updated with reminders via texts and phone calls.
Corey was super friendly and courteous. Took him no time at all to review my boiler schematics and wire the step down transformer properly. Now all my zones and thermostats throughout the house work properly. He's very knowledgeable and even gave me some helpful tips for my expansion tank. The service call charge was fair and worth every penny! MK will definitely get my business the next time I'm stuck.

I requested a quote for a few small jobs, but nothing of emergency. Corey inspected a toilet pipe that I wanted to be modified and a sump pump upgrade. After he left I received a quote for $1700 to drop a sump into an existing sump (a high-quality sump with the same functionality can be purchased online for $500) and the toilet pipe was found to be leaking into my basement (it wasn't leaking before he messed with it, I only asked “if” it could be changed).

I just spoke to him and asked if he would offer some sort of goodwill to fix this since it WAS NOT leaking before he messed with it. He offered to only charge me a service call fee and couldn't get me on the schedule until next week. So, for a leak that he caused, I get no priority for the repair and am charged for a service call?

Although I don't have time to fix this myself, which is why I invited this business into my home and offered this work to this business, I'm now canceling my business appointments and heading to the hardware store to purchase a soldering torch and supplies to repair this myself.

Being a business owner myself, I make it my mission to always make a business interaction positive. Goodwill goes a long way when mentioning or recommending a business to friends and business colleagues.

I had my toilet installed and an old one removed. They got me in their schedule in a reasonable amount of time. The men who did the service were polite and efficient. They let me know if I needed additional parts and took care of everything. The cost shocked me because of how cheap it was. I will 100% be calling them for all my plumbing needs going forward!

I cannot recommend MK Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning enough! They did phenomenal work fixing significant problems caused by the shoddy work of another well known, local plumber. They went above and beyond, have been early every single time, and don't gouge you on price. They will be our first call for all our future plumbing needs!

Had an appointment for estimate. Waited a couple weeks for estimate. Finally messaged them. He sent estimate which we did not understand the estimate. Messaged again and was told he was on vacation for a couple weeks. I said ok and we would like to meet again to go over the work and would he please contact us. It's been close to a month and haven't heard from him.

I called to schedule a service call for what I thought was a backed up sewer line. They were able to squeeze me in the same day. The crew’s first attempt to clear the line wasn’t successful. Upon further investigation they were able to identify the issue was located at the septic (trash) tank. I have a single dwelling sewage treatment system. At this point they were not knowledgeable in this type of system and recommended a contractor who is. I appreciate the honesty. They refused payment for the service call, as they weren’t able to make repairs. What a reputable company.
