Jud McMillin represented my father in a criminal case. I must say he speaks loudly and firm. He knows the law and was able to correct those who should also know the law (the county/ state-or whom sets court dates). Dearborn court system is full of errors and Jud was able to speak up when needed.

Jud has amazing communication skills even though I am a difficult person to deal with he was able to keep up with me and all my over barring questions that I had 10 times a day.

Hired Amber McMillin Orozco On January 9, 2024. She was hired to draw up a simple contract for services for a new business venture. It was explained that our drop date would be 4/1/2024 and she assured us that would be fine. I reached out by email on February 8 2024 --- No Response. I called to speak with her 7 times and was told by her secretary that Amber would be given the messages... Never once did I receive a return email or phone call.

9 days before the due date I got a draft that was nothing like what we had discussed. I sent a reply stating that it needs revised with a list of issues that we had previously spoken about in our initial meeting that were not in this documentation. Here we are 40 days after our drop date and I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANYTHING.

I called to set up a meeting since that seems to be the only way to talk to the lawyer who we hired and was told they could get me on the books in 2 months.

I don't think I have EVER been treated with less regard and unprofessionalism in my life. Looking at the recent reviews it would seem that this is a trend, and now this firm has lost my company money, time and on top of it all I am going to have to start fresh with another firm as her paralegal has done the work and she has apparently had our new documents "under review" for at least 2 weeks --- its a 2 page document with a word count of 275 --- Lazy.

Redeeming factor: Her secretary is top notch and deserves a raise for having to deal with the number of people I am sure she has to deal with calling in because of the lack of response from their lawyer.

Mr. Judd McMillin is the most trusted, straightforward, and honest attorney I have ever met. I had highered a highly rated attorney from Indy who advised me to turn myself in to deal with court proceedings. Once I did, after 2 days of being in custody, I got an attorney call from her informing me that she cannot represent me and for sure I was getting a lot of time. On top of that she said she was taking the attorney fee for services rendered. I sat in jail with nothing and no idea of what to do. I asked everyone for their suggestions and it was an unanimous response that Mr. McMillin was the best defense attorney. I reached out to Mr. McMillin which was the best thing I could have done for myself. He advised and explained to me the complications of the case and the best options that were available. He was there and defended me through the entirety of the case that allowed for what I feel was the best solution for all parties, for me to be able to continue working, to be with my family, with arrangements to repay my debt. I am forever grateful and thankful for the hard work and excellence in the representation of the entire team and staff at this firm. I highly recommend their services for anyone in need of legal assistance in the State of Indiana.

This year has been horrendous for me, but the absolute best decision I made was trusting this firm with my legal needs. Amber(hope it's ok to use her name) was the attorney who met with me. Amber was incredibly professional, attentive, and actively listened as we formulated a solution for my predicament. I am an incredibly cheap and do it yourself man. I don't ask for help unless there's no other option and I'm as stubborn as they come to be independent; but when I say this was the best decision of the year i sincerely mean it. I wouldn't have survived doing this on my own. The only reason I am still standing on my feet was Amber taking this issue off my metaphorical plate for me so I could concentrate on my own tasks. Amber's diplomacy and uncanny resolve found us a resolution before I knew it. I don't have words to express how truly blessed I have been to find such people in my life when i need them. I will never need another lawyer. I have found mine and I don't care what it costs me. I know who will stand with me and get me to my destination.

If I could give zero stars I would. Amber McMillin literally LOST my father in law’s will. When confronted about it she pretended like she never had it…. Which is impossible because I literally have a PHOTOCOPY of it with her own name and office on the first page She can’t be bothered to answer emails, phone calls or do her job at all. If you’re looking for a lawyer you’re better off by yourself because she pretty much makes you do everything anyway while invoicing you 5k.
