This courthouse is way past the line of fraudulent as they write tickets and then never answer the phone or email. I have called at varying times of the day multiple days in a row to constantly get their voicemail message. I've left multiple messages on their voicemail and sent them multiple emails. All with no response, yet they threaten me with my license being suspended if I don't somehow pay the ticket that's impossible to pay by the date given. It's flat out outrageous and something must be done.

UPDATE -- I finally got the court to call me after over a month of trying to call, leaving messages and sending emails. I had to call a superior court and have them send a message in order to get a call back. They claim they are were short staffed, and I could understand that for a week or two, but over a month with radio silence, seems more like no staff. I think they should have to get a superior court to help in those instances and if not, they shouldn't be able to give tickets if they don't have the bandwidth to deal with them.

Can’t get ahold of anyone on the phone or by email for two months now. I can’t pay my fine because the website keeps saying there is an error. Someone please answer me!

Speaking from personal experience, the court does answer the phone and runs information check. However, this court is very remote, far away from all major cities in Arizona and require in person hearing, which would cost thousands for Arizona lawyers due to the travel. As tourists to Arizona from other states, dealing with tickets here could cause huge effort including time and money. We really recommend MA Munson Law in cedar city UT for legal assistance on all traffic cases here. They really have professional advice and experience, locate really close to North Arizona and licensed in both Utah and Arizona. So lucky that I found them. Don't waste your time on lawyers in south Arizona because you cannot afford their travel.

I assisted a Utah resident with a ticket out of the North Canyon Justice Court today. (I work at a court in Utah).

I really feel someone needs to look into the North Canyon Justice Court and the way they perform their job.

This resident had been trying to call the office for hours. The message on the machine says something along the lines of…

You’ve reached the North Canyon Justice Court. Our hours are Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. excluding holidays. If you reached this recording we are busy. Please don’t leave a message because we probably won’t return your call, but hang up and try again later.

The phone rings once and then goes to this message.

I tried the number 10X over the hour she was in my office and at no time did anyone ever pickup.

We called another court who assisted us with finding the website and online payment and were eventually able to process the payment to the court. That took two attempts as the website failed on the first payment try.

We emailed the court and requested confirmation of receipt of payment and request to clear the driver license and still have not received an email back.

I really don’t want to be involved with this anymore as it took about an hour to take care of this however I feel someone should be made aware of this ridiculous situation and fix it. That is inexcusable. The message is not acceptable in a government agency. You are supposed to work for the people. Not make the people crazy trying to take care of their obligations.

If you aren’t the right place to send this (I was told you were by a gentleman at the AZ court administration number that I located online) please please please forward this to someone who can take action.

They have lost my payments and records since I was 14, and I have no idea how to get the information I need. I also lived with a roommate who had never been to Mohave county once, and he received legal notice for a completely different individual who just happened to have a similar name. We reached out to that individual who was actually under threat of having a warrant issued and he had no idea that they were trying to notify him. Truly frightening to think of how many warrants are issued against innocent people by this court due to negligence.

Been calling for more than 3 hours, also have sent an email and no answer. Contacted county court and superior court, apparently they don’t work together when you want to take care of paying a overweight ticket in a commercial vehicle . But are on you like flies on poo if you do something wrong.

I also tried to contact the court to pay a seatbelt ticket. I called 6 or 7 times a day during their business hours for 3 weeks. I never talked to anyone, nor got a return call. I was unable to pay it online either. I have to drive 4 hrs tomorrow so they don't suspend my dl. Very stupid!

I had a fraudulent court case out of this court and I tried to call and email for Help it’s been Years and I still get No Help finding out again that this is still on my recordI am confused this county needs to be under investigation because it’s making no sense to me a person trying to take care of my obligations having to deal with such a headache I live so far away and would never even want to go to these parts of the country so I need someone to help me ! I need someone to call me back or reply to my email and resolve this issue
