We had a very bad experience with NRI Legal services. I saw their advertisement and my father hired them. I want to let all NRI know that these lawyers should NEVER be hired. My old father had to actually travel to India to ensure that property case is handled correctly and in right manner. We paid so much to NRI Legal Services and to Nidhi. Our new lawyer in India tells me that cost of making an affidavit in India is Rs. 20 and of making GPA in India is about Rs. 200. We feel ashamed everyday that we paid so much money for something so inexpensive. Nidhi hires sub-standard lawyers in India who have zero understanding of basic laws in India and don't know how to behave with foreign clients. Clients have a right to question why their case has not progressed and why there is so much delay. Instead of getting angry the lawyer should have given answers. We were forced to spend extra and to change my lawyer in India. Their name should be sub-standard legal services and not nri legal services. We are now contemplating law suit against Nidhi. My advice to NRI - get second opinion from a lawyer in India before you hire Nidhi.
