As another reviewer said…. Manage your expectations. The location is great being so close to Sedona but the park itself could do with a lot of love. It’s surrounded by permanent residents then has 6 short terms spots. The office is a bit run down and no one was there the entire time we were there.

There is a lot of posts about the entrance and exit ramps being tight and steep. I would absolutely agree they are very steep with the exit being incredibly high but I didn’t think it was as tight as I expected. We had a 26ft trailer and it was very easy to get in and out space wise.

Most concerning while staying there was a huge limb came down in the adjacent spot which would have totaled our trailer had we been there. Speaking to the local resident they said the trees are not well cared for.

Overall it was worth the money for the location of you just want somewhere to park and sleep but that’s about it.

Do yourself a favour and bunk in with the homeless folks in the bushes nearby, they have better conditions and hospitality that this operation. Zero help because they are never around and never answer the phone. It was bad enough we checked out after one night and guess what - no refunds on what you’ve booked. Walmart parking lot is better than this.

Sedona was another stopover in this Incredible western fable. This place also has that beautiful redstone landscape look and an amazing church like no other i've seen. I did not have anything like enough time in this stopover haven but managed to get a good few pics that will hopefully allow you to appreciate the feel of its beautiful landscapes .?

We loved this place. The shower situation is a bit rough but if your RV has a shower then that’s not an issue. If not for that I would have left a 5 star review. The park is quiet, safe, and the creek access is wonderful. We left all of our belongings unsecured all week and never had any issues. The permanent residents were quiet and kind, and the location is unbeatable especially for the price. We plan on coming back every year! It may not have the fancy amenities of the bigger RV parks but it had everything we needed. The mixed reviews had us very nervous but we were very pleasantly surprised. We will be back!

I love this place! This is Sedona’s hidden secret gem. I almost hate to even tell you about this location because I don’t want it to be crowded every time I want to come visit! This is a very clean trailer park, with older, well kept trailer homes. Residents are quiet and peaceful, with 7 spaces in the middle section for visitors. (Don’t tell anyone!). I think it was $55 a night. -I have full electrical and water connections. I’m parked right across from a very clean shower, bathroom and laundry room. I’m just steps away from a very beautiful Oak Creek location down a cobblestone path to where you could get right down to the water and swim, and see wildlife. On the other side of the campground is the sidewalk that takes you to wonderful restaurants, shopping and downtown Sedona. If you can get up at 5:30 AM in the morning, you have the whole town to yourself, just you with the dog! I’m having a wonderful and relaxing experience and thank goodness I have a day and a half left. I can’t wait to come back -and I think this is probably my favorite campground of anywhere I’ve been yet in the past 2 1/2 months of camping with my new RV. I was greeted within 10 minutes, as I sat in awe of my new environment and settling my dogs down…. Staff is very friendly and my site was marked upon arrival. Everything has been drama free!
Thank you so much the staff of this RV Park!

You get what you pay for…

Pros:
1. Lower price than others.

2. Quiet.

3. Nice access to the creek.

4. Laundry facility on premises.

5. Full services (electrical hook-up, water and waste).

6. The creek pictures on the website are accurate.

Cons:
1. STEEP entry/exit

2. More of a flop house with maybe a half a dozen RV’s Slots and the rest is a run down trailer park/apartments. The 5-wheel trailer across from us was abandoned, had the locks changed and just sitting there rotting.

3. ONE toilet and shower for the entire complex.

4. No picnic table for our door eating.

5. Water connection was at ground level. I list this as a “con” because we use our trailer basically as a place to sleep and the propane burners and we don’t carry a fresh water hose with us. Luckily, there was a water spout about 5’ off the ground where we could get water.

Odd:
1. NEVER SAW THE “PARK” HOSTS! Didn’t come to greet us. The “Office” had a sign on it “Do Not Enter”. When I called the number to tell them we arrived, I simply got instructions and referred to the confirmation email I got when I booked. The previous night at another park, the host handed us a welcome package, showed us on the map where we were and her husband helped me back the trailer into the spot.

Overall, in the beginning, I was disappointed but as our stay went on, I realized it was ok because we were here to explore Sedona and sleep in the trailer. Not spend all day at the trailer.

We decided to stay somewhere with hookups on a Saturday night, with no reservation! It proved to be a bit more difficult than we wanted, especi with covid. They were having issues with their phones but replied to my request on their website within minutes! They were super kind and caring. Hooked us up with a great site, we had a 21' Kodiak cub trailer, a nice cement pad and our yukon side by side. It made for the perfect night with multiple trips to the creek! If you stay, be sure to make a trip to the patio at night to watch and listen to the creek! Will definitely be back when we are in the area 🙂

Nice river access. Met some great folks at the river who were also camping. I see the bad reviews, but honestly, pretty good place for the money and area. Walking distance to a few restaurants and we felt totally safe. I left my phone and keys out once (by accident when we went for a hike and it was still there half a day later. Locals living here were really friendly. Two week stay. Not bad at all. 21 ft travel trailer and had plenty of room to park along side of the trailer. Price is right, safe, walking distance to dinner or lunch. Thumbs up!
