I've had several tests over the years at Pulaski Memorial Hospital and I've never had a problem. Everyone was so nice and very Professional. My Doctor is the best! I have all my Mammograms done at PMH and the Chief Radiologist found my Cancer on the Right Breast. He did a Biopsy and saved my life cause he spotted it in time. Thank you to all the staff at Pulaski Memorial Hospital..

I would never recommend coming to this hospital for an emergency. Our son broke his leg at school and the head nurse was extremely unprofessional. Might I add that our son is only 5 and this is his first ever break. She was getting aggravated that he was yelling in pain and not sitting still as they tried putting the splint on his leg. We had to tell them what happened 5 different times and THREE different people walked asking about a trampoline accident. When asked what happened the last time, someone said he fell and the head nurse commented back, ā€œso he says.ā€ We left with the impression that they thought WE did that to our son. As if we weren’t stressed enough for him, they acted like they had never seen a broken bone before. This place is a joke and I don’t know how the ER is still open.

Been trying to resolve a bill since 2020. Had full traditional Medicade at the time of service. Have called multiple times since I received the first bill to get this resolved. Told that the supervisor ( Lisa ) would call me back to resolve the issue. No one has called me back and now I am In collections. Obviously, they don’t care enough to resolve the issue or even take the time to call me back. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Drove my dad to the er for shortness of breath. Upon arrival, he was taken immediately to triage. I had to wait in the lobby until the evaluation was completed. Staff came out to get me. Dr. Kurzejka determined my dad's situation was critical and he had to be shipped to a hospital which specialized in his condition. He and his staff went above and beyond to help my dad's situation. They took time to explain everything, while searching every hospital in northwest Indiana for an open bed. Thankfully, he was able to secure the last bed in Fort Wayne. We waited for flight for life to arrive. I can't thank the staff enough for everything they did for my dad, and my family.

I would like to let my insurance company know I was not truly treated. I came in without a voice and a severe sore throat. They ran three quick tests, strep throat, Covid, and a baterial test. All were negative. The doctor listened to my lungs. But never touched me to check my gland (lymph nodes) or enlarged thyroid (I have suspicions nodules, having a needle biopsy when I get back to home (Florida). Then the doctor would not prescribe lidocaine liquid for me….she said use OTC Products, it’s now 3 days later and I’m not any better…actually I’m worse. I’m going to ride it out. When the nurse came in to give me my discharge papers….she looked at me and said ā€œHave you never had a sore throatā€ actually I never have this severe or I wouldn’t have been there to begin with. I didn’t want pain medication, I just wanted the liquid lidocaine to numb my throat so I could swallow. Just very disappointed! From the doctor not touching my throat to check for swelling to the nurses snide comment as I was leaving. I’ve never gone to the emergency room and not been admitted, so I did think this was severe, not admit me serious but need to see a doctor serious.

Every time I have gone to the emergency room all of the staff have been so professional, prompt, and actually seem to care. I recently had oral surgery and had major complications, I ended up in their ER twice. Both times they ran multiple tests, scans, and worked tirelessly to get my issues resolved. They never let you just sit in the room for hours on end like other facilities which to me, is a HUGE deal for me! I like to feel they care and are checked on to made comfortable in such a scary time. Hope they see this and know how appreciative I am for all of them! I am so thankful for all that they have done for me, and hope to be on the mend soon!

I went to ER yesterday with sever back problems, spinal stenosis, and a bulging disc. I was burning up with pain , the RN asked me why I was hot, I told her haven't ever seen anybody in sever pain ,then she asked me how I know I got spinal stenosis, I told her I went out in garage and fired up my 10 million dollar MRI. She told me I was being bulegernt..well I'm done here can't take a bunch of stupid questions
