Robert Molloy was hired by Homer Senior Citizens Center Board of Directors. He chose to support the interests of the former Executive Director of Homer Senior Citizens Center, Keren Kelley, rather than the needs and interests of the Board of Directors when the board was directly confronted with a formal grievance regarding a laundry list of serious and abusive complaints by former employees, employees, residents, former residents, families of residents, and families of former residents. He picked up where Ms. Sonja Redmond, attorney, left off when the issue apparently got "too hot to handle" for her and he once again became HSC's attorney despite nearing retirement. He wracked up thousands in fees - which the board threw in the membership's face regularly, "if we weren't costing them these unnecessary, exorbitant fees, then HSC wouldn't be having money troubles."

Whether Mr. Malloy understands anything about non-profits or not, he definitely did not understand or care how the law and how image or brand intersect. He, along with the former ED, pounded the proverbial nails into the coffin that was on its way to becoming HSC whether by financial destruction or by brand destruction. Employees were leaving in droves as were residents due to the gross mismanagement. Mr. Malloy, for whatever reason he chose to not represent the board, but rather represented the wants and needs of the corrupt ED.

As the former ED in just the past 18 months was found to have not paid any bills nor payroll taxes (and the money is not there!), Mr. Malloy needs to return every dime he "earned" from his "services". That is the very least he can do to attempt to make amends for how his participation complicated and delayed the resolution of this dangerous situation.
