I have been acquainted with him for most of my life which is why I selected him. He gave me a few red flags during the discovery process. I should have paid more attention to that and for that reason, I accept fault but he is absolutely the worst family law lawyer! If I thought it would do my situation any benefit I would file against him for malpractice and negligence. I have researched both of those and know those accusations fit! Not only did he not prepare me for Trial… at all! Matter of fact, the week of trial I even asked if I was going to have to speak. I knew nothing about trial. Then, he was not prepared for my trial and did not represent the facts of the case. He said his assistant reorganized my file the night before and he couldn’t find anything. So ultimately, He did not present any of the financial information although he had it. Additionally, He did not present any of the neglect, abuse, post divorcé retaliation, letter from the children’s therapist, timeline of important events… although he had it. He only concentrated on one detail that arose during the mediation process. There was and still are numerous areas of concern in our situation. Reading the transcript of the trial is so painful! He did not request a GAL for my three young children. I didn’t know until afterwards that was something that even had to be requested. My children are the ones who are suffering from his terrible representation.
Don’t make the same mistake I did! Keep looking!
