Will not be returning due to Bruce writing tickets to OHVs for unfounded “crimes”. To bad we spent a lot of money in this town that’s fine Lake City is just down the road and is OHV friendly. To bad the Mayor and Sheriff are singly handily trying to bankrupt this town.

We stopped at the visitor center so not sure if that is also the chamber of commerce. As a visitor center it was probably the worst I have experienced. Not greeted, and then when we finally approached the counter we were quickly dismissed with "it's off season, restaurant and shops only thing open.. go drive around." Never stopped cleaning to respond.

very sad that the politicians after all these years are banning ATVs in silverton. using ATVs to see the wilderness and having good town access is what makes CO great and drives us to visit every year with 6 RVs and 20 people. guess well be visiting MOAB UT, MARYSVALE UT, TAYLOR PARK CO, LAKE CITY CO now instead...
