I would highly recommend the Steinberg Law, P.A. group to handle any personal injury case you are considering even if you feel it is a long shot. My wife had fallen in a parking lot resulting in significant injuries to her spinal column and breaking bones in her wrist. After explaining in detail what had happened and sending pictures of the injury site, they sent an expert to examine the site even though it was on the other side of the state. It was determined that it was a case worth pursuing because of the state of disrepair and uneven surface of the parking lot, and the extent my wife's injuries. The only issue was whether the property was insured. After extensive research, and speaking to the owner of the property, it was unfortunately determined that there was no liability insurance. However, they would still take the case even if there was no insurance. After explaining in detail the difficulties of the case, they were still confident we would win. But in balancing the pros and cons it was determined that it was in our bests interests not to proceed. Attorneys naturally want to win on behalf of their client, but it is more important to be honest and assess the risks of a case if we wanted to further pursue the matter. I would highly recommend this firm if you feel you have a personal injury case, and I would gladly refer them because the attorneys of this firm would give you an honest opinion after a full investigation. Brett Steinberg is a very difficult man to deal with. He is almost always confrontational and has no people skills. I was never kept up to date on my case, unless I called in, and when he did update me, he expected me to fully understand what each conversation meant in legal terms. My case was open for over a year and I was always having to call them to check the status. He always tried to talk down to me, made me feel like I was a bother.

I was told the defendants were giving their deposition in January over a year later. I had a lot going on so just assumed the case was ticking along, as it was normal to not hear anything for ages. Eventually it got to August, so i called in for an update, to be told my insurance company had paid out to him in January and they had just remembered and were NOW trying to reduce my medical bills. 7 months later..... then everything was a rush, he low balled my offer claiming he had gone above and beyond!!!!! He told me to "Take it or leave it. That was a good final offer and I was lucky to get that! " He then proceeded to tell me all about myself!!. I just couldn't take him anymore so i signed, took the cash and told his assistant to tell him that I would NEVER use him again, or recommend anyone to do so either.

He is rude, arrogant, stressful, unprofessional and really just a horrible man.
