Steno is very easy and convenient to pick jobs and upload jobs. I LOVE the Dashboard system. I also LOVE the invoice payment system. Who else pays for the entire transcript orders (O&1 AND copies) in one paycheck? The rates are very good and competitive. The communication via e-mail is excellent.
I am really enjoying my experience, and Steno is making my semi-retirement so easy!

Repeated sales calls stating "they need to talk to the attorney" because "they were referred" to our firm and "they do depositions on contingency" and they won't permanently remove us from calling list (which is THE LAW) because the "don't have a calling list". Unfortunately, their rep is an interrupting, mansplaining douche. Do not recommend.

The experience had been very unprofessional. We were in a hurry to find a reporter and had to use STENO although they could not appear in person and the Judge fortunately allowed them via Zoom. We knew of them as they constantly called after taking our names at a Clio Conference. I reserved a reporter for the entire day as we felt this hearing would in fact last that long. You are not given info to speak directly with the court reporter working on your matter. Instead, all correspondence goes via E-mail with you and a salesperson who set them to your matter. Because the parties were still discussing a possible agreement in our hearing and did not go into the courtroom for a while, the Reporter was not entered into the Zoom hearing right away. So the reporter decided to sign out. I had to tell them to sign back in as we reserved them for the day. Another issue when scheduling a court reporter through them, although the site you sign onto states they have scheduled a reporter for you on the date/time you need, they had not officially YET! BTW also make sure you tell them the time zone you're in as they're in CA and aren't fully aware that some states are in multiple time zones and must not look it up. Luckily, I caught that and corrected them. This was definitely a last resort and will not be our choice in the future.

I am so very happy with Steno! So much more freedom in making a schedule that works for me!! I can only take shorter jobs (no longer than half day) and have learned how to tell by the caption, case, etc. I'm just my own calendar person and can now set my schedule how I see fit! I love knowing my schedule ahead of time and not the night before. I find I am so much happier!!
I also love the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that! When I have had a question, they get right back to me. I feel they really care about their reporters.
Here's to the rest of my career with Steno!!! :)))))

Steno is the best court reporter service. Super reliable and professional. I never worry that they will drop anything and completely rely on them for all court-reporter and interpreter services as well. Yes.... they coordinate interpreter services as well. One-stop quick request and I get everything I need for my depositions. Completely love their services, they make it easy for me.
