When dealing with custodial and parental rights, you want to work with someone who is truthful, dedicated, and someone who will guide you through the often confusing times. Amy was able to provide that, and so much more - however specifically, she was in this case with us.

We live in California and had to deal with cross state affairs in Arizona. We spent two days making phone calls, giving our story, and and answering the same questions over and over again - until we spoke to Amy. She was attentive in hearing our story, asked thoughtful and respectful questions, and gave us quite a bit of her time. After our lengthy conversation, she simply put it that although we believed and she believed - this wasn’t a slam dunk case, we had work to do - and work is exactly what she did. I still remember the conversation between my partner and myself after we ended the call, her honesty was such a breath of fresh air! Of all the phone calls we made that day, everyone seemed to sugarcoat the potential outcome, but Amy being real with us and explaining the scenarios really sold us - probably one of the best decisions we have made.

In the height of the pandemic, my partner being laid off, and working across state lines, every moment and conversation with Amy was of the most importance. She was able to work with us on fees and was so careful to respect how our money was being used. Her knowledge was profound, yet she was always able to clearly communicate and translate all that can seem so overwhelming during such a difficult time.

Amy helped a father establish his parental rights, relocate a child from Arizona to California, create a parenting plan that promised to have the interest of the child as the top priority, and truly leave a lasting impression on our family. We are great full for her partnership in a time where we were so lost. Grateful that she cared as though it was her own child. Grateful that she helped to change a very deserving young boys life. We could not be happier, and could not recommend Amy’s services enough.

Amy was fantastic and very professional and responsive especially during a time of extremely high stress and emotions on my end. She was very calming, reassuring, and matter of fact. I had another attorney start my case, but it became clear early on that they were in over their head. Amy was referred to me by a friend and switching was the best thing I could have done. Amy took on the case, got up to speed quickly, and moved it along so I could begin to move forward with my life. Amy was also very knowledgeable of the laws and worked well with the judges and other attorney which also made things go more smoothly. I’d highly recommend retaining her if you are in need of a good attorney.

I was blessed enough to be referred to Amy Witzleb, after our attorney closed his practice. I could not have found a better attorney. Amy was kind, helpful, and honest. She was upfront about the situation and what my options were. She was an amazing advocate for my family and kept me apprised of each step. I was in a very contentious and high conflict proceeding and the whole time she maintained a matter-of-fact composure; putting me at ease. Her assertive but kind personality shines through and makes her a necessary advocate in the court room.

Amy worked on my case and I have zero doubt that the success we had in the Superior Court was due to her involvement, know how, and knowledge of the judge. She is knowledgeable about many of the judges, so as to strategize the approach for the case. She willingly took on my case somewhat last minute after I was making a mess of it trying to deal with it myself. She could have told me to continue on with the debacle I was preparing. She took the time to walk me through what needed to be done, how I needed to be and how to prepare, and even worked with me in communicating with me during the odd hours I keep. To me, that showed her dedication to her clients. Face reality, nothing about what you're going through is nice or fun. No one wants to be in these situations and no one wants to need a lawyer, much less pay for one. Sometimes that is the necessity of things and you get what you pay for. Working for free for myself was not going to pay out well. I would suggest you contact Amy and let her have the chance of examining your case and working her craft in the courtroom. You will be happy with the results.

Nothing causes anxiety like ending up in family court, and I feel for anyone going through it. Amy takes the time to explain the process, is honest about the potential outcomes, truly cares about what her clients are going through, and is ready to fight for you. I jokingly told her she needed to become a licensed therapist because she's so good at treating anxiety-LOL. She's who you want representing YOU....not the other guy. 10/10 would recommend.

I don't think I will ever be able to fully express my gratitude and appreciation for Amy Witzleb and what she did with my family law case! She is extremely knowledgeable, very attentive, and always explained all of my options in an easily understandable way, so I never felt like I didn't know what was going on in the process. I truly felt like she cared about my case and her hard work and dedication is unparalleled! I honesty don't know what I would have done without Amy's legal expertise and strategy. I will be forever grateful for what she did for my family and she will be the first person I call if I ever need legal assistance again!

I was in a custody situation that places me back in court every 1-2 years due to substance abuse issues which contributed to additional issues. I found myself having to speak to a new judge every time. It was a cycle that kept my daughter in a harmful and emotional situation and caused me financial and mental stress. I would be awarded custody while mom was ordered to a few months of testing and counseling. Once complete the court always awarded custody back to mother, then mother would relapse and the scenario would start all over. And the process was often long, ugly and I was always the bad guy. Until I met Amy Witzleb! I sat down with her and explained the entire situation and my wishes. She provided me a strategy, the processes and possible outcomes. Having Amy and her firm spearhead my custody battle was the best decision I made. A ton of stress was taken off my shoulders. I was awarded full custody and this time mom was given a short easy requirement. The court approved a progressive step program that Amy created. 2 years later mom has failed to get out of phase 1 due to her own willingness. The financial burden and stress of having to return to court every 1-2 years is finally over thanks to Amy amazing and professional service to my case. I highly recommend her and her firm to anyone.

I had the opportunity to have Amy represent me during a very unpredictable, and stressful time in my life. Not only was she professional, empathetic and always on point... but I always felt that she was extremely invested in my case. She took the “scary unknown” out of the process for me and explained things in a way I could understand them. I would highly recommend Amy Witzleb to anyone who could use her services.
