We have been working with Shawn for several years and have found him to be a caring and competent attorney. My husband and I recently utilized Mr Pierson and his firm for wills, power of attorney, medical POA etc. From the initial consultation to the process of drawing up the documents through the signing of the documents, we were thoroughly pleased with Mr. Pierson's attention to detail and explanation of each of the documents. Planning for these things is never an enjoyable prospect; however, Mr. Pierson and his staff made the process seamless. Yes, it is not inexpensive to have all this legal work done, but knowing that as spouses and parents we are set with all needed legal papers if something would happen gives us such peace of mind. In addition, both my husband and I had some questions regarding our elderly mothers and the financial aspects of their care, and Mr. Pierson was able to provide some great advice. Finally, Mr. Pierson's staff are very helpful and responsive when it came to scheduling appointments.

I rarely post reviews good or bad but I felt my experience with Shawn and his staff is worth sharing.
I set up an appointment with Holly who was very friendly and accommodating. I came in the office and Shawn made me feel at ease. He explained a will and POA documents in plain language to make it easy to understand. Everyone was helpful, efficient with the whole process and compassionate. Being a small Firm was also a plus... I did not feel rushed and they seem to have their clients best interests at heart.
Will recommend and go back with other future planning!

We were interested in updating our will and set up an appointment hoping to be advised on how best to reach our objectives. Shawn was a bit late meeting with us and wore a mask, which somewhat muffled his speech. He spent a good bit of the time on the computer apparently determining if we had enough assets to justify his time. He seemed more interested in knocking out a simple will and collecting his fee rather than discussing our ideas. In the end, he told us we didn't know what we wanted to do and charged a $595 consulting fee and sent us out the door.

My experience with this office was a very positive one, from scheduling the initial appointment to the final meeting. Mr. Pierson listened to my objectives and gave great advice on things that I hadn’t even thought of. He was thorough and clear with his explanations and is kind enough to include your short calls with no additional fees. I would definitely recommend this law office!
