My attorney is Thomas at the Powell Law Firm. I have been in a 10 year Battle with my ex-wife. Using the same attorney for 10 years, Thomas took over my case 45 days ago. Thomas has accomplished in two meetings in court cases in 60 days more than my previous attorney accomplished in 10 years. Thomas came to agreements with my ex-wives attorney. I put a retainer up with Mr. Powell. I had an immediate need for a lawyer. Our personalities did not mesh. I switched lawyers after a week realizing, he wasn’t going to help me or even go to court himself. In my opinion he way overstated his services and fees and when I questioned him he just said the state of Alabama lets me charge something like 400 an hour for his assistant to answer my phone call. I made a mistake and thankfully realized this quickly. There are way better choices and down to earth lawyers. I am so thankful I switched.
