Clean campground in a very convenient location to Sedona and Jerome. We paid extra for a 50 amp site, and it was very spacious. We were surprised by the large number of people who live there full-time in the campground. Staff wasn't very friendly, but we didn't interact with them much. We didn't spend a lot of time in the park during the day since we were sightseeing in the local area. It was very quiet at night.

We camped here over the weekend and loved our experience. The bathrooms were super clean and tidy. So many fun things to occupy our 5 and 3 year old. They absolutely loved the mini golf, pool, playground and game room. The game room had a big box of toys and some simple puzzles ? The 2 men that checked us in were so upbeat and helpful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay near Sedona

We had a 5th wheel. Park bathrooms were roomy and clean. Activities are both member generated and Park generated. We enjoyed our stay. Lots of outside of Park things to do in nearby towns. Ft. Verde days- second weekend in October is a fun, educational experience. Indian ruins-Montezumas Castle, Montezumas Well, Tuzigoot nat'l monument. Red Rocks of Sedona. Wineries. Casino. || Something for everyone within 30 miles of Cottonwood.

The park was very clean, everything worked/was open/operational (the pool is often closed/not operational at other TT facilities) and the staff was very helpful and kind. We will stay here again when back in this area of Arizona. Cottonwood is a nice town with great restaurants too.

First of all, the boys at the entrance gate make you feel immediately welcomed and are just super nice and cool guys. We had originally reserved a tent site online but asked to upgrade to a cabin after realizing that there wasn't very much shade and it was too hot for our dogs. The woman who helped us at the main office was very nice about it and extremely accomodating. We even asked to shorten our stay by one day and she was happy to adjust our trip however we needed. Overall, amazing customer service and friendly staff all around. The pool and hot tub were very nice amenities and our little cabin was perfect and tucked away for privacy. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing glamping getaway.

We stayed for two out of the three nights that we booked. We were tent, tent-trailer and RV camping as we had a group. Because of the tents we had to stay in the "A" section. This campground is full of permanent/full-time people, so it felt like a trailer court. The sites are right on top of one another (literally RV slideouts were almost touching) We took our dogs and found that we could not take them to any water or area that would give them exercise. The amount of "goat-head" stickers in the campground is overwhelming and we were constantly pulling these stickers out of our dog's paws. There are not many trees and what few there are consist mostly of thorny Mesquite. On a positive note the bathrooms were clean and had great water pressure and hot water. We will not be back.

Verde Valley is by far the very best TT park. The staff is friendly, efficient and extremely professional. The park is maintained with the utmost care, you often see staff stopping along their travels to just pull weeds they see popping out of the gravel in vacant sites.
The gate is always attended and they are very welcoming.

Service was great at check in (which is why the 2 stars and not 1)....however, the website should make it clear that the tent camp spots are on rocks/gravel(?) and essentially have no shade. This didn't make sense as they had several sprinklers watering the nice green grass around the non tent spots directly across the road We drove 2 hours only to turn around and drive back home. We were both left disappointed by the experience, especially as paying thousand trails members.
