I think this was my favorite trail in Sedona. Great views as you slowly get further up the mountain. My GPS wasn't working, but I managed to follow the trail. A must do trail for the enthusiast.

Beautiful area. We were here on a Tuesday morning and there were plenty of spots. The lower chimney loop was a great 2 mile hike with plenty of lovely views and just enough challenge to raise your heart rate a little.

Easy, scenic hike with a few routes one could take to lengthen their loop. I recommend going clockwise around the chimney rocks and then through the mountains toward Thunder Mountain. It really opens up as you walk forward and through it. Spectacular views as always. Love Sedona.

Amazing hiking trails! Barely anyone was there and everyone we did see was nice. Minimal shade and obviously pretty hot so make sure to bring water, snacks, and some sunscreen. There's short hikes (about 1 mile) and longer ones, almost all intersect so you have options. We did 3.25 miles round trip.

Level 2 trail: Lower Chimney Rock. I recommend walking counter-clockwise; there seems to be a lot more signage for the correct trail to take. We tried going clockwise as suggested and got lost 6 times. Either the map needs to be updated or more signage is needed. The map says there is 2 passages on the track, well there's 14. Enjoy finding the correct path if you aren't a local. Sights aren't great, houses 500 yards from track, and another 500 from the road. Fences are barricades if you go on the wrong path. Some lower hanging powerlines without warning signage, so be careful around that area.

Quiet, beautiful hike in Sedona. Way less crowds than more popular hikes with just as beautiful of scenery. Low to moderate complexity, some mountain bikes on the trail too. Pack water and sunscreen!
