Cindy Tilden is the absolute BEST child custody attorney one could ever ask for! She puts all her heart, soul, and time into your case and fights for what is right and in the best interest of the child. She is very knowledgeable about laws. DO NOT TRUST THIS LAWFIRM! Cindy Tilden is unreliable, unprofessional, and a liar. My husband and I met with Cindy in March of 2021 with the intention of moving forward with a step parent adoption. Cindy said it would be $3,000 total for her services. My husband and I did all the necessary background checks and other things that Cindy said that we would be required to do. In our situation, there had to be a publication done in the news paper. Cindy told us that this publication would be have to be done once a week for three weeks straight and we would have to wait 30 after that for our court date. Cindy set our court date for July 21st, 2021 at 9AM. At 8:30AM on July 21st Cindy called my husband and told him not to come to court and that it needed to be rescheduled because she never got the confirmation from the newspaper that the publication had been done. We asked her why couldn’t she just call the paper and have them fax over a copy of the publication. Cindy went on to LIE and say she wouldn’t be able to get in faxed over in time and that contacting the paper was “just not possible”. After minutes of us going back-and-forth she finally admitted that she had never even done a publication one time! She informed us that our next court date was going to be October 21. She still expected us to pay her another thousand dollars after she didn’t even do the work that she was hired to do. I attempted to contact her via phone and email multiple times for 4 weeks prior to the to the court date. I was not contacted by her until 7 PM on July 20 (the night before the court date) and she insisted that everything was in order and that the only thing left for us to do was pick up my child’s new birth certificate after court. Cindy has caused so much emotional stress to my family and my child. My husband had to take off work for that court date (which is not easily for him to do) and my child started second year of school with the last name that will have to be changed weeks into the school year. Fortunately we decided to go with a new attorney and FIRE Cindy. Unfortunately she gave us a very hard time trying to get us our money back. I do not feel like we should have to pay for her services that she did not even do! She told me and my husband that she thought she did enough work and was not going to issue a full refund of the $1800 dollars that we had already given her. Our new attorney was able to obtain a $600 refund check from her. Cindy also has 3 settled complaints that are public on the bar association’s website. Do not trust this attorney! My husband and I have also went to file a complaint against her with the bar association.

If you are in need of estate planning (i.e., Will/Living Will/Power of Attorney/Transfer on Death Deed, etc.), I would highly recommend Nicholas Tilden of Tilden & Tilden. There was no attempt to upsell to other services that didn’t fit our needs. It was an easy process from beginning to end and fairly priced for the services we received.

Cindy Tilden represented me. I know how busy law offices can be, but after leaving 3 messages with her secretary and emailing her once over the span of 4 months and never getting a call back until the day AFTER my hearing that she showed up to but never had the courtesy to call me back and remind me about; I found it rather unprofessional. She also showed up to another hearing hours late and never once fought for what I was requesting. I received my basic rights that I could have gotten myself by just sitting there without an attorney and then was charged 3k for her services.

I trust them. I know that everyone has a busy life but I still feel like they give me the time needed to leave there with confidence that I am a priority. I've used other lawyers but I don't like being a number! Being a number doesn't mix when your in need of a lawyer! Thank you for the good experiences.

Cindy represented me and all I can say is that I am glad I didn’t pay Much attention to the poor reviews here. She was very professional and listened to what I had to say and was definitely looking out for my 13 year old best interest. I would definitely recommend her!

Unethical. Would not recommend to anyone settling an estate. Nick does not represent the estate heirs but represents and works for the designated “estate planner” or whoever pays him. After my father passed away, the estate planner wanted me removed from my fathers property, even though I was legally entitled to part of it. Basically they wanted to steal and sell items from my dads garage and make a few extra thousand and didn’t want me included. Shady biz. Shady people.
