Mr. Gibbens handled a very involved, high-conflict divorce that took much longer than it should have which is in no way in a reflection of Mr. Gibbens abilities to represent myself but instead on the other party. This was a very complicated matter that he handled with tact and persistence. I am incredibly appreciative of his ability to deliver the best possible outcome for myself and my children. I also put in quite a bit of work as is to be expected so that your representation has the most accurate information. However, I was told exactly what to gather and when it was needed and I completed what was asked of me. Mr Gibbens was very easy to get in contact with when I had a question or was very anxious during the divorce process. This included a 7pm call the day before thanksgiving and several weekend evenings. Additionally, he was empathetic and patient with me when I needed further explanation and felt very prepared and informed prior to all court hearings and mediation. Mr. Gibbens laid out possible outcomes, set realistic expectations, was transparent about costs and over delivered. I have utilized 3 family attorneys in the past in another county roughly a decade ago, one of which was a very well-known and very costly attorney, hands down Mr. Gibbens has been the best attorney I have ever hired. I honestly cannot say enough about how happy I am that I chose him to represent me. If you are looking for someone that will be realistic, straight forward and fight tooth and nail for you Mr. Gibbens is an excellent choice.

As a worried mother during a horrific time, Tony made himself available for me—He answered all of my phone calls, filed an emergency petition, subpoenaed two witnesses & came in the court room and conquered with very little time to plan. I’ve had Tony for almost 5 years as the attorney for my daughter and I. I highly recommend him! He is consistent, goes above and beyond, and has always been reachable for me even after hours. He is the best attorney I could hope for to help me with Father’s rights. Tony was not helpful in my case. He actually forgot I was his client at one point and even said, "I forgot about you, thank you for reminding me that we need to proceed." Tony did not prepare me for mediation or support the way I wanted to proceed with the case. I do not recommend him in any way to handle cases.

While looking for an attorney for father’s rights, reading many reviews and researching for days, we found Tony Gibbens. This had to be done long distance because my son didn’t reside in Indiana. Tony was quick to respond and took the time to listen and answer questions over the phone. We flew in on a visit and met with Tony at his office. My son wanted an attorney that would protect his rights as a father with his daughter. Tony immediately got to work and we are so grateful we found him. It’s been two years now and each step, advice, contract has been on point. Tony is very accessible by phone and will treat you fairly without overpricing. His knowledge on family law and the advice he gives as he works with different aspects of the case, from location notices to parenting time contracts and contempt of the other party is great. We have complete confidence in Tony Gibbens abilities and knowledge and highly recommend him. We plan to continue to work with him long term.

While Tony’s services were indeed helpful in a trying time, he insisted that we wouldn’t fight or negotiate the child support payment down at all on my behalf. Leading to the last five years of my life being barely livable thanks to job changes yet unflinching payments to my ex wife. I get bent over week after week.
