The new guy that works here is wonderful, especially compared to the rude older guy. The hours are incorrect. Wish they would fix that. The hours changed 6 years ago, and the photos in the reviews show the correct hours. Please keep in mind -- the mail room and USPS are entirely different places with different hours run by different people.

Lived on base for 4 years. Only thing consistent is problems. Not just for me but for several others that live on base. Recieved wrong packages, opened packages, empty packages, and never receiving some packages. Ontop of that sometimes packages shoved in the tiny mail box and it's difficult or impossible to get out.
Wish there was something that could be done. Last time I checked it is a crime to open someone's packages and mail, let alone steal it. Luckily for me I'm moving soon but no so lucky for those that will still have to put up with this nonsense.

Excellent customer service, the young man who works in there is super friendly and eager to help. I couldn’t ask for a better experience with a post office. I wish the office has longer hours though, makes it hard to go in if you work normal business hours.

Lost one of my packages for almost a year. They've been sending it to the wrong mailbox and half the time they just give away packages without even checking to verify if it's the correct person and their hours are very inconsistent. So now hopefully this is the correct time I'm posting

I've lived here for 4 years. Service here use to be terrible. It has turned around!! The current worker could not be more courteous or helpful! I take my mail here instead of driving anywhere off base. He is seriously a good dude.

Why is it such a pain to get any assistance from either the base or North Pole post office? I've read the reviews and I agree! Phones don't get answered, and when they do it seems like we get treated like someone else's problem and passed along. This is some of the shabbiest customer service I have ever seen. Bottom line is.. they need to do better. Supervisor's need to get involved, and if it turns out they are part of the problem then the postmaster needs to step up and fix this. Stop being lazy people!!

Worst post office ever! The older gentleman was very rude and just acts unlike youre stupid in front of everyone. Never felt more humiliated in my life. I was giving him some grace maybe thinking he had a bad day but then came and read these reviews and I’m not the only one who had an experience with him like this.will not be returning here.i will drive to NP for better customer service.

The times are pretty inconvienent for shift workers, along with a very rude older gentleman who seems that doing his job is inconvienent for him. Pretty bad customer service in my opinion. But it's the only thing we have here unless you want to use the gas to go to north pole or Fairbanks.

The mailroom people are very nice though nothing against them at all, very helpful as well. But it's the times that are just a pain.
