I found Vaughn using the Internet and after reviewing the different candidates, he seemed to the best reviewed. Working with Vaughn was fantastic, as he was knowledgeable, able to explain things clearly in ways i could understand, and efficient. His staff is small, and you will be working primarily with his law clerks/paralegals on your case, so outside of your initial consultation, filing, and court appearance, do not expect much time or contact directly with Vaughn. However, his staff if very competent and thorough. My one complaint would be that they are not as responsive to phone calls and emails as I would have appreciated. All in all, the Law Office of Vaughn Taus made the entire process relatively painless, and that is all you want from a bankruptcy attorney.

Vaughn Taus has supposedly now retired and has referred me to another lawyer who I called and never heard back from. It sucks when your lawyer is now retired but no one is reaching out to you when you need a letter per the court’s. It just sucks when they leave you stranded.
