I had a consultation with Danielle and left pretty disappointed. I don't feel I was able to explain the important facts of my case to get an accurate take on my situation. I was spoken to as if I were a child while trying to interject so we could get on the same page. I was talked over and rudely told i needed to be quiet if I wanted her help. I left with a lot of general info and more confusion/fear than necessary regarding my case. I feel the advice provided was very general and said processes that had been suggested were likely already carried out. We would have discovered that if she allowed the conversation to get to that point. It's hard when you don't know the law per say, so when you don't use the right terms or refer to something with a specific term (ignorantly), some attorneys seem to run with notions and narratives they've assumed without gathering the literal facts and documentation or clarifying why I believe or feel the way I do. I am not the expert, I am coming to the expert for help and clarification with limited insights and knowledge.... I was flustered and too confused to even try to ask to cover the info I needed to on our call after being treated the way I was - I take accountability for not fighting through and asking pressing questions regardless of what she had already determined (without the facts and without me being able to really speak clearly and correct her as the conversation progressed). But not what I expected, having paid $150 for 20 minutes of her time. I'd say this was of my top 2 worst consultations out of about 7 or 8. I gave 2 stars because she at least threw SOME suggestions out there that seemed viable at the time, based on her assumptions.
