Judging by the way this "business man" responds to critics tells me all I need to know about his character. I was looking for a mechanic in the Hanceville area to do some work on an older Chevy truck (1970) but after reading how he reacts to anyone who's not pleased I'll continue to look around.

Hey Gomer, you'd be better off if you used a different approach. There are no shortages of mechanics in Cullman County.

I really like this place the owner is very understanding and easy to talk to. His store items are very reasonable,in my opinion they are new and like new. A very nice and clean place to shop. Their is something for everyone to look at and buy. I will shop there again.

I took my 99 Mercury Tracer to Verhine,s to have my thermostat housing replaced and they did an outstanding job,and I will be using them for future auto repairs .so if you need any auto repair or maintenance done go see the guys at Verhine,s Auto Service Center,you’ll be glad you did !

If i could give it a 0 I would. Billy was extremely friendly when I left my truck there. It had issues with the frame and he was nice enough to allow me to leave it there until insurance or NHSTA could look at it. Called multiple times since I live in Florida and no answer. Mind you, this vehicle is my best friend's. He asked me to take care of it while he is in the veterans center. 32 days later I finally get through by using a another person's phone and to my surprise Mr. Verhine was screaming at me that I stole this man's truck!! I was disturbed. Well best friend said they told him I traded his truck in on the vehicle I purchased at Maximus Auto next door. I paid CASH for my truck. Billy Verhine talked this retired veteran who is quarantined in a center in Mississippi into paying a 5,000 mechanics lean, which didn't exist, paying another 10 grand for my truck which I already paid...AND had him so upset thinking his truck was getting repossessed that he paid his entire loan off and won't talk to me at all. DON'T TRUST THIS MAN!! HE IS A LIAR
