I hired Ms. Viscarra to represent me in divorce proceeding in April 2023, she was referred to me by a high school classmate who is a prominent inmigration attorney. She was excited to have been referred by my friend who had helped her on her way to become an attorney... I thought I was in good hands as you can imagine.
On June 5th, after two months since the first meeting, she had all docs needed to file, I wrote to her to go ahead and file my case, as the timing coincided with the end of therapy sessions I had to send my 10 year old son to in order to prepare him for the inconvent divorce... For the next two months I sent texts, emails, phone calls, asking for an update on my case, I even had my injury attorney send her an email as she completely ignored me.

After talking to the Florida Bar,
I contacted an attorney who is in her building, he was kind enough to check if my case was filed in court and he verified that it had not been filed. He felt so bad for me that he offered to go talk to her, but we agreed to instead get the young lady at front desk try to get a hold of Ms. Viscarra.
Her reply was that she'd call me later. (she did not call).

Next day I sent an email to Ms. Viscarra letting her know that I no longer wanted her to represent me, and that I wanted my docs and retaining fee back.

A week later she replied that her office would offer a full refund. Yesterday I went to pick up my refund and docs. To this day no apology, explanation has been given as to why I was ignored, and why she never did anything for my case.
Her bio states that she aims to reduce the stress of a divorce proceeding, she did the complete opposite to me, and added uncertainty, and an even greater stress level to an already stressful proceding.
